last year was terrible for rain mold etc so this year i had a plan and its worked.

here is where i started my grow outside. behind a curved row of green beans

big buddah cheese :peace:

you might need to twist your neck to see the pics the right way round

no problems with bugs, not one, even though my beans were covered with black fly etc. i planted some french marigolds to help keep bugs at bay! the ants that fed on the flys kept my babies safe

i topped my girls to keep them low. believe it or not but they had enough sun behind the beans to make them grow without stretching

before they went into flower i took one plant out of the pot and planted it into the sunken hole at an angle, nearly lying down, partly to keep the plant low. much more sunlight found the plant this way

you can just see the plant..

now they are nearly ready. i have moved three somewhere else now with a cover over the top to keep them dry

this year my plants have been very green. i have had no yellow fan leaves either.
i have fed them with canna PK 13/14

so all in all i feel very lucky to have got this far and not one problem :blsmoke:

right on, that's a cool place to put them. I'd say those still have a ways to go from those pics though.

end of month apparently, maybe beginning of november.such a boring wait. the trics are all cloudy with a hint of pink here and there. if things do take a down turn i should be able to harvest. another week and i should see some amber :D

lots of sun this week :blsmoke:

nice grow i like the camoflouge
thanks :peace:

i have another bean set up with laurel growing behind instead of fence. totally invisible. i have pruned a lot of bean leaves away to allow more sunlight through.
the ones i have moved are in full sun all day and are completely dry.

i think the beans have helped keep my girls healthy as there are more tasty to the bugs, certainly a difference from last year!

all i want is to smoke something that hasnt been tampered with. my dream is to be able to grow enough for a year..........:blsmoke:

runner beans are great to eat. i sowed a second lot to take over from the first so i had coverage. my neighbours have had tons of them from me

its not hard... start now indoors one or two plants with 6 hours of sunlight all season without any major health problems will produce more than enough for a year. or to be a little more discreet consider starting a mother now and makeing a bunch of clones for later. whats key however for either case is that they get lots sunlight. without it your plants will be small.

at the bottom that plant is stretched for light btw.

i earthed up the bottom of the plants to just below the first fan leafs so that caused the stretch at the bottom of the plants i think. also i planted them below ground level in pots plus early summer we had just rain for weeks, was a real crap time.

i need 12 ounces min to safely see me through a year. i might get a third of that if i am lucky :blsmoke:

nothing like natural sunlight! Where are you located at, and what kind of a climate do you have there where you grow & live??

ttt for sunlight. Unfortunately my neighbors trees are getting so fucking big that it blocks some of the sun out during the afternoon, not the hottest period unfortunately. I can't go over to his and tell him to trim his trees so I can grow better weed. I'll just have to buy a tent and start growing indoors as this year wasn't particularly bountiful.
