    Hi guys,
My plant look as if it has been pollinated :(
I broke a little bud off it a few days ago. Now looking in the buds of that, they're are tiny little seeds, I would say about 1/10th the size of a normal seed.
    She's at 8 weeks 12/12
What I really want help with is what shall I do now? Should I harvest straight away? Force 24hr darkness to force maturity? Or ride it out and let her finish and let there be seeds in the bud which would be hard to sell?
Any advice would be gratefully appreciated :)

Micro seeding is usually caused by giving cold water to your plant during flower. Cold water on the plants roots causes a lot of stress in cannabis, especially during bloom. I've made this mistake before, as have countless others on this forum. Here's how to fix it for the future, let any water you plan on using in the garden sit overnight, allowing it to reach room temperature. Problem solved.

my plants get watered with 45-50 degree spring water. I dont see hermaphrodites.
I've poured ice water in them when I was a baby grower for the same kind of myths and still no hermies.
when I planted a hermie seed I got hermie plants regardless of watering temperatures or room conditions.

Personally, I would let her go until the seeds mature unless you're making hash. It's much easier to remove mature seeds.

No one said stress from the cold water caused hermies. Micro seeding and hermies are two completely different things.

The stress from the cold water can cause flowering plants to start making small seed husks. These husks are completely useless since they contain no viable offspring inside because no pollination occurred. They just get in the way and waste the plants resources.

Go the distance and don't kill it off early. If this is your only plant you are going to be chopping before the THC peak has arrived. We have one hermie that we have isolated because she was so close to being ready. Also it is going to be fun for us to try and make concentrates. Just our two cents.

    Cold water holds more oxygen.

Sounds more like very young seeds that would mature if given enough time. (Not that anyone would want hermie seeds...)

Seeded pot even produces a few cannabinoids that unseeded pot doesn't.

Why? Damage is done. Just grow it to maturity.

Do you have a link to some info about this? I can't find anything but cold water being a cause of stress and hermie.

It's a good time to pop some beans for the next round.
There's a chance that some of your crop has NOT been pollinated -- especially if you filter the air or use fans that suck air out of the grow space.

Not all hermie seeds will be hermie. It can vary but usually around 25%. I've seen a number of grows on here using them and done it myself a few times.

I have some landrace sativas that always throw a few nanners on lower buds.

Agreed, but I *really* hate getting hermies early. :cuss:
Seeing male flowers on buds is fairly common late in flower. When I see them on buds, it's usually time to harvest.
