My plant has somehow been pollinated

Yes, I am sure. Like I said, I learned this the hard way, and made the same mistake with cold water during bloom. Years ago I was reading through some threads one night and came across someone complaining about micro seeds in their grows. Another member brought up the cold water/stress issue and enlightened us to the problem. I tried it out, by just letting my homemade RO water sit over night before use, any and all micro seeds disappeared from my buds. Just google how bad cold water is for cannabis, you will see that it can cause growth to slow, and can even halt it completely, thus killing the plant. Why is it such a stretch of the imagination that this same form of stress can cause females to start making seed husks late in flower?
Causation is not correlation. You are making anecdotal claims based on nothing more than your personal experiences without actual evidence.
The "microseeds" are actually called an ovule. Some plants have bigger ones than others. If the ovule is pollinated it turns into a seed.

1- your females shed pollen and what you saw were immature seeds

2- They grew sexually confused plants too

3- so did they, you really should read a different forum

4 now wait one fucking minute....you used room temp water and existing seed husks magically disappeared from the buds?
did a unicorn sneak in the room and eat them, lay off the shrooms

5- you are stating these as facts not imagination. facts need proof if everyone disagrees. I water my plants for ten years with ice cold water every time and never see sexually confused plants. might there be another issue in rooms that see sexually confused marijuana plants? I think so.
but please provide proof that a mj plant can
A- make pretend seeds
B make pretend seeds without pollen,
C adding room temperature water makes these pretend seeds that formed without pollen magically disappear.

Ive hermied plants from stress during flowering. Even coolish water wont shock the plants that bad though. You gotta be hittin them with ice water in some stupid ass attempt at making them turn purple (yes, the internet is telling kids to do this), or extreme light/heat
I hope thats not what he was doing and now hes fibbing his way outa this mess.

I doubt ice water would do it. I've done it a few times. Not really worth it but no real harm unless its a lot of ice.

Cannabis even handles frosts, sleet and other cold weather issues.

bongsmilie He is probably poorly managing multiple conditions. Ie temp, humidity, soil moisture, ph. or excessively defoliating the plant to the point shes become unable to provide enough energy to herself.

Most likely.

I'm all for trying new grow techniques. I just wouldn't recommend doing a bunch at one time.

You said your "micro seeds" disappeared after you started using RO water. Did they fly away?
Reading comprehension is obviously not your forte. :dunce:
So reverse osmosis water is how I solved my micro seed problem? Are you sure about that Mr. Reading Comprehension? Because my exact words posted on page 1 of this thread are:
"Here's how to fix it for the future, let any water you plan on using in the garden sit overnight, allowing it to reach room temperature. Problem solved."

So cool rain in the fall causes it also?

I've used cold water and even ice water in the past and didn't get seed husks.

More like it got pollinated and the seeds didn't mature.
Here's a fun fact you don't know about me, I make, and sell, cannabis seeds. I've done several breeding projects that have turned out successful. I've made several hundred dollars in the last couple of months alone selling them nationwide. So I know what pollinated pistils look and behave like. There were no pollinated pistils in my garden when the micro seeding occurred.

Alright, here we go. For three straight grows I used cold water and had some micro seeds show up. They weren't very noticeable unless I was making tinture when they'd float to the top of the jar during the soak cycle. After switching to room tempurature water these baby seed husks were no longer floating in my bacthes.

I'm glad to see that you're trying to dog pile on, as well, but you picked the wrong pack of bitches to run with. Stop with the "magic" shit. Use some common sense. They didn't magically go away, after discovering them, and reading that advice on the forum, I used room temperature water on my NEXT crop of girls to solve the problem.

1)using room temp water doesnt prevent pollination, seed production, or hermaphrodites, ovule production

2)Ovules dont begin forming because the water was too cold.

take pictures, I'll show you ovules or pollinated seeds floating in your tincture. why did they stop?
depends on what they were. I suspect they were herm seeds, and now you dont herm anymore.

Micro seed? What the hell is a micro seed? I have spent my entire lifetime in horticulture. And have never heard of such a term until this thread.

I mention using room temperature water as a suggestion to help the OP's problem and this is what your delusional head sees it as. What is wrong with you guys?

Hi guys,
My plant look as if it has been pollinated :(
I broke a little bud off it a few days ago. Now looking in the buds of that, they're are tiny little seeds, I would say about 1/10th the size of a normal seed.
She's at 8 weeks 12/12
What I really want help with is what shall I do now? Should I harvest straight away? Force 24hr darkness to force maturity? Or ride it out and let her finish and let there be seeds in the bud which would be hard to sell?
Any advice would be gratefully appreciated :)
are you using ice water ?

Here is a fun fact. I make seeds also. The pics to prove it are on this site.

They were pollinated. Period. Cold water doesn't make seed husks.
