plants are about 1 month and half old...about 10-12 inches and very bushy....everything was going great up until a few days ago. Im currently giving themn 18/6 and a few days ago they started to get droopy when it time to shut the light off...and then after 6 hours i put the light back on and they're standing straight up and looking perfect. so a few days after i noticed them starting to get droopy.....i noticed the leaves were starting to turn slightly yellowish....and the stems are a purple/redish color. the leaves arent waxy like they used to be...they are drying up and kinda shriveling.

right now im currently growing them in a closet with one window and fan for ventilation. i have the walls lined with mirrors and im using a 1000 watt metal halide light....about 24 plants in the closet(in soil)

i give them each about 1 cup of water every 2-3 days or so and i just recently starting using nutes.....right now im using imported OMri Root Juice for root stimulation and Bio-grow liquid fertilizer.

anyone have any recommendations.....i feel like there is still hope for my babies...i wont give up yet. any information would be greatly appreciated....and yes im a first time grower.

thanks

You oughtn't use mirrors to line your walls for reflection, seriously they give off way too much heat. You should go to the dollar general store and for 2 dollars buy 2 packs of shiny tissue paper, like the stuff you wrap gifts with and stuff. That will help ALOT.

Without pics it's hard to determine if you are over/under feeding
them...The problem sounds as if it lyes in one of those.

Get rid of the mirrors, they aren't helping...get some mylar or
something bright white...Got any pics?

Should be in minimum 2-3 gallon pots. Water as the soil dries use a moisture meter or finger test if you poke in about 2 inches and its dry time to water. I water my little dirt plants once a week right now will go to twice soon though about 4 cups at this time is 3 gallon pots.I use miracle grow moisture control so its high nitrogen so didnt need any nutes til 12/12 then added indonesioan bat guano which is straight phosphorus0-12-0 and adding sugar daddy and molasses to water for extra carb to fatten res glands.

the room is a constant 70-80 degrees...

3 gallon buckets but i drilled holes at the bottom of everyone....

ph is 6.5

light is currently 40 inches away ....only because i feel like it was giving off tooo much heat....up until about 2 weeks ago i had it at 30 inches

Any pictures? You have fans going in the room right to circulate stale air? Venting old air out and bringing new air in?These pics are 15 days old in 3 gallon pots in miracle grow under a 400 watt mh now under a 600 watt hps for 4 weeks then 1000 watter til done.

You will probably notice that every time you water them they get droopy. Thats what seems like the obvious to me. Whatever containers you are growing them in need holes punched thru the bottom so the excess water will drain away.

Watering really depends on many variables, pot size, soil drainage, size of plant...you should get a moisture meter...I am new to this but say fuck the finger test...if you have poor drainage in your soil the finger test will be misleading.
Nutes also depends on the person, plant as a general rule you want to wait until they are a few weeks old and start with diluted nutes increasing the amount of nutes every time until you find what your plants like. Also from what I have read you should use nutes no more than once a week or every other water which ever is furthest apart. But ask 10 people you will get 10 different answers. The real answer is ask your plant.

It sounds like they are getting over heated to me... A Very Easy thing to do is raise up the light, and create more air intake/circulation...I also use a 1000w MH sometimes, and I get alittle agro with light distance myself. GL
