GHAH! Sorry, I know when you are a new grower and new growers take everything very seriously (which isn't really a bad thing).

I'm sending this out to every newbie with little seedlings.

The only real concern you need to have is, "is this plant healthy?" If it's green and grows a little every day that is an excellent sign. Everything else is superfluous. Worry about growth rate of you mature plants. Seedlings are borderline idiot proof (the next post is going to be about how some moron killed all his by not watering them) and if you fail you lose a week. Big fucking deal. Just germ another seed.

Anyway, as for your plant. It's way to big, cut that mother fucker down! Just kidding, it's fine. Good luck, champ.

I'm in the same boat as Goatfarm. 4 days aft germ my babies are just over 2"... I replaced my 4 T12's with 8 high output T5's - 4 blue/4red just 20 mins ago. Lights are 1.5' from the plants can I go lower without cooking them?

It's up to you really. I like to top my sativas at 2ft and then veg for a week so they are about 2 and a bit. My indicas I put in at 3 feet because they don't really veg much in the 12/12 (that is probably just my strain though).

Anyway, you should figure out your max height of your lights and then veg your plants to about a little under half of that. That's my system anyway.
