my stunted auto. please HELP! 1st time grow

hi guys. it's my 1st time growing, I have one auto(blue treacle) and it's been 7 days since it sprouted. on it's 5th day it seems to be stunted. I think I overwatered it because my pot(permanent) seems to have bad drainage in compost soil. so I transplant it to another smaller pot with new lighter soil. it doesn't seem to have any other problems just stunted, no yellow leaves. will it recover? is it gonna be okay? just really worried cuz this is my last seedling. the other 2 died. im just feeding it with tap water no nutes because I'm planning on bringing it in compost soil

Let the soil dry out before watering it, as the soil dries out it releases oxygen to the roots and makes the roots grow to try to find water. Also if you over water you'll lock out nutrients.

I see, thanks sir. hope my plant would grow a little faster soon . I'm just really worried when my plant didn't grow that much for a few days. I got scared because this is my last seedling

if that were mine I'd be adding 25% perlite to that soil

it aerates the soil and improves drainage and avoids root compaction

fill the pot to within half an inch of the rim

so she dont get death valley effect

gotta think of developing that tap root

good luck

thanks sir. my old mix before I transplant it is 50/25/25 (compost/perlite/vermiculite) but that didn't go very well that's why I transplant it to smaller lighter soil. I'm thinking of adding 50% soil less(lighter) medium and I'll take 50% of my old mix is that ok?

vermiculite, like moss? holds water ..hence holds nute leading to nute burn, avoid vermiculite, for this reason add moss but be cautious,

you need to decide NOW whether organics is for you,

it is a steep learning curve, otherwize you will be adding artificial salts, fertz, and reading your soils by Ph gauge

watching your leafs go yellow and die, with very poor yields

the best soils for north america is Fox Farm Ocean Forest with 25% added perlite, expensive but can be re used with little nutes added

good luck

When u water it bud try just watering in a circle around the stem don't water the whole pot ..If you water it in a circle around the stem it will drink the water but also make the roots grow and search for water causing you to get a nice root ball going.. Hope this helps...

Happy growing
