I've got a 100 gallon reservoir, and don't mind a homemade 1, but I'm not doing it weekly.

I used to use Southern Ag Garden Friendly Biological Fungicide, but I can't find it anymore, but Amazon for $30???

Was like under 10 bux before.

And how do you know if you need it at all?

I've tried a few, and great white I stuck with, never had root rot in rdwc, and never had a chiller, 12 pot alien system.

What's this "greif" you speak of ?, I've not never had that.
In hydro, they die very quickly and bad bacteria eats it. Your PH will get out of wack and your roots will get root rot.

Think about it for a moment. You're feeding your plants salt nutrients. The good bacteria have nothing to eat and nowhere to live. They don't like salt water.

I've thought about it, and I've still not had any greif in over 10 years in water.
