MzanziM's 2 x 400w hps Grow Room Design and Build

Hey everyone, so I'm starting my new build this month, which will be completed by the end of April 2018.

I'm starting this thread in order to document my plans and the entire build as I have relocated and found a space that I can build a 1.8mX1.5m grow room.

Grow Room specifications:

Area: 1.8mLX1.5mWX2mH
Frame: Pine
Walls: Plywood
Roof: Plywood
Lighting: 2 X 400W HPS
Exhaust: Double vent exhaust fans
Air circulation: 2 X 30cm oscillating fans
Medium: Organic homemade soil (will post on thread on process behind making the soil)
Strain: Uknown
Nutes: None

Will post plans in the next day.

Hey guys, so as promised here are the plans for my new grow room, it's just a rough draft, but it's the general idea and sizing of the design I'd like and I think I could grow some sick beasts in it.

Looking good on paper & nice size...Question...You are using HPS is that because you had them already or something else...Was wondering why not LED's to save on electricity ...Just wondered!

Hey man, I have the HPS lighting already, so I'm just using them for that reason. Although I'm liking the growth I see on my current plant under the 1 x 400w hps.

I've decided to add a 1.2mX1.5m section to my grow room to muo shelving space for items I need during the grow.

Will post pics of the progress soon.
