Three people face drug charges after OPP seized nearly 3,300 illegal cannabis plants from a former school in Cramahe Township on Tuesday.

Officers executed a search warrant at the former South Cramahe Public School at the intersection of Little Lake Road and Purdy Road east of the town of Colborne.

Inside the building, officers seized 3,297 marijuana plants valued at more than $3.25 million. They also seized a BMW motor vehicle, a generator, a snowblower, a sprayer and $2,500 in cash.

Three people were arrested.

Alex Nguyen, 21, of Toronto, Van Hung Nguyen, 49, of North York and David Pham of Kitchener were arrested and charged with:

Possession for the purpose of distributing

Possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling

Cultivating, propagating or harvesting more than four cannabis plants

Cultivating or harvesting any cannabis at a place that is not their dwelling house

Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000

Pham was additionally charged with possession of over 30 grams of dried cannabis in a public place.

OPP say an electrical services authority, the township fire department and the township assisted police in the investigation and assessment of the building.

I remember buying pounds 25 years ago, and we called it china bud cause it looked real fucking good, tight nugs, Christmas tree buds, etc., but you smoked it and all your 18 year old self got was a headache.

Now I wonder if that stuff was 40:1 CBD weed, but I get a bit of something off of that; so I think it was just some totally weird way of growing weed that looked good but did fuck all. Weird. I just hated getting stuck with a couple pounds of this bunk weed when weed was worth 3200/lb.

back then it was all about being tumbled
Asians just grew POISON SHIT WEEDS ......and it as easy to spot....not to mention who they are is easily seen as well
anyone who bought from them...... well...didn't know any better or did they have anyone that would sell to them in the first place
It is still today a very TIGHT deal.. or else the legal market would be reaping rewards,,,,,,,,which they aint:hump::weed::clap:

someone else bought the hot potato anyways...that's how it always went. This stuff looked, smelled tasted real, and I know tumbled and this was just....devoid...is the best adjective I can think of. Or an amazing imitation. I had experience growing weed at the time. A guy working at the post office talked to me about that bud the other day. I did not know him from before. He also called it china bud and wondered if it was CBD, that's what got me thinking.
