Need a good mold resistant strain

Thats not true re: hybrids. I have basically nothing but hybrids and pure sativas here. The hybrids I run never mold

What's your humidity at? I'm usually between 75 and 95 all year.

Im in Vietnam in the South so probably very close to that

Back to an earlier post though, some are more susceptible than others. But just because its a hybrid doesn't tag it as a moldy cultivar

Some breeders have actually worked on this trait successfully.

I don't have anything against hybrids. October is just a bad finishing time for the east coast of Canada. The temperature doesn't always get high enough to dry the dew in the morning. So water sits on the buds all day even if its not raining. If the op is growing in a field or hilltop he should be ok but if he's growing around a stream or pond in a wooded area with high humidity that's an issue.

What strains are those? / where did you get your seeds?

So out of all that which ones would you guys suggest lots of different opinions I'll try anything at this point, really don't wanna grow autos because I can clone them and hate starting from seed

Are you growing in a greenhouse and directly outdoors? Try using a greenhouse if you are directly outdoors, as it will greatly help with preventing but rot and mold like you are experiencing. You can also try some auto-flowering seeds as those can be harvested within 10-12 weeks!

I can't grow in a greenhouse because of stealth issues and I don't want to grow autos because I can't clone them and to get 100 plants like I want to have next year it would be 1000$+in seeds or I could get a few normal seeds and a bottle of clonex and have my 100 plants easy. Just need a good strain

My two biggest are cuvee and cornbread og. Both stupid high resistance like seen em in a room with a bunch of pm but not one bit on them

i know of a few really good cloning strains that get branchy and bushy more than others we have cloned before and are done mid sept with good mold resistance we are on the ocean in mid coast maine so if it grows here it will grow there youre close to us and they will be great for there also

congrates maine is going to fully legalize it this week aren't yall.

Tahoe OG works for me...I found that if you take the first top cut down 6",while the heads are not clear but cloudy...the buds will not get too big for the mold to set in.Than wait 15 days and chop when the amber shows up

plants grown under intense light..sun/hps tend to grow tight kolas some even 'fishtail' (???)

other under crappy T8's or low end leds are loose and 'open'

but both bud strains can re act to a pythium attack

its how the plant handles or reacts to that attack

the 'correct' way in the breeding program is to grow out 99 plants, get them infected

then breed only the survivors ...the way it should be done ...lol

This is the key to properly bred genetics. My favorite and most reliable and potent plants all have a breeding plant in their genetics with the name Jack33.

The #33 plant was the winner out of that 100 plants. Every step was like that I am sure.

almost none of the popular breeders even the famous American ones do this at all.

They cross a bunch of popular cuts and just sell the resulting seeds. And have forum growers "test" them instead of the breeder like he is supposed to.

And this is our new flavor of the day legal market. Too bad most of the weed is not better than the original plants they crossed even.
