Hey guys :) I am new here on forum, but I was growing weed in last 3 years, mostly outdoor and only once indoor. Now I am living in the city and sold my car, so there are no possibilities to use mother nature for growing right now... :-/ Few months ago I finished the last buds I had, and now growiing idea came to my mind again :P I'm aiming to build a stealth growbox in the closet with a S&P TD160/100 fan, filter and some kind of controller to reduce the speed of the fan... Before I was using HPS bulbs and lumatek ballast, and it worked very well, but the amount of heat and noise was really terrible... Therefore I am looking for a LED Panel, after reading the forum for a while I made a list of the lamps that looks suitable for the project:

Hans Panel- http://www.bonsaihero.com/ledgrow.html - 56watt (180 euro) 1 year warranty

Fero A60- http://www.feroledeurope.com/newsite/best-small-led-grow-light/ - 110watt (314 euro) Lifetime warranty

Advanced lights, Diamond Series http://www.advancedledlights.com/3w-led-grow-lights/new-diamond-series-leds-extreme-3w-led-technology/?revpage=2#reviews 100watt (295 dollars+tax) 3 years warranty

Apollo 4 LED -http://www.cidly.com/?page_id=61 130watt (255 euro) 3 years warranty

Growing area will be about 50x50x80... Please give me an advice on what to chose or write your experience if you have one of these products... :)

I researched some of the same lights, and ended up going with a Cidly Apollo 6 for 3x2 area. I had great scrog results with a blackstar 180 in this same spot so figured the newer Apollo would do just as good or better. Grew 3 strains ... one was fast but runtish, one was good sized and VERY crystally, one was huge, crystally but slow flowering. If I had grown any of these strains with LED individually I might have said the LED was lacking in some area. Plant is too small, plant is too slow .... but having all 3 strains in there at once just let me know genetics play just as much, if not more significant role in how a grow turns out.

Only half way through an apollo only run so can't give a comparison. The light is well built and I was also able to customize my spectrum.

Would also like to add that I have used 400hps in this area, and yielded more than I did with the LED. But, the grow experience was not enjoyable at all ..... heat issues. As soon as I tried LED and saw that I could grow quality bud I was willing to give up significant yield just to not have to deal with the heat. Small personal grow for me, and I know everyone can't give up their yield.

the space is not fixed yet, since I haven't bought the closet... :) I found one in IKEA 80x80x50 (WxHxD), the plan is to create 2 sections inside, one for the filter and fan (about 30cm), last 50 cm will be for the plants.
Looks like it is possible to harvest about 60-70g from one Hans Panel, the question is if I will be able to harvest more with higher watt LEDs on a such a small place?
btw thank you for your reply guys, you are welcome to comment more on my idea and choise of light :)

I'd go with the Hans panel...or diy a higher wattage one or two that fits the space closely.
