need help identifying bug, magnified pics inside

finally found a pic of the bug online, it was off of a blog that said these were inside of a rotting potato. the blogger was never able to figure out what it was.

I have these by the hundreds crawling on the outsides of pots, increasing every day but yet cannot find them anywhere in the soil or on the plant itself. what do you guys think. sorry for double thread, figure I should start a new thread since they aren't root aphids

Thrips. Msybe. They usually hop all over the place.

Yes. I like to top dress with.a mix of ewc. Perlite. Coir. Crab shell. Neem seed meal. And DE. Works wonders for prevention. Not sure if it will help once you have bugs. Which the neem snd de is good advice. Also. Some preditory nematodes mixed into soil eill help for future grows
