couple cbx 3590 heat sinks
:peace: always good to know some basic information - before answering questions

to chose a driver and chips it`s helpfull to know:

- size of your grow room
- how many plants
- veg or bloom (or both)
- tall plants or i.e. scrog / sog

the drivers you mentioned are not very efficient (90%)
if you want to drive more than on chip -
it can be cheaper and more efficient(94%) to chose a bigger driver
and drive several chips in series or parallel.

I have purchased a couple cbx 3590 heat sinks...
if the heatsinks are only drilled for cxb3590 no other cob fits that

are they perhaps drilled for 35mm holders as well?

the luminus cxm22 i have for $19 are brighter than both of the chips you list from kingbrite

glass lens
i don`t like lenses so much - they always decrease light ~ 5-10%
and increase temps of your chips - LES(light emitting surface) normally is cooled by air convection. Specially for a scrog grow you may find them useless - because without lenses you
can get closer to canopy

to cover 1,2x1,2m i would go with 9 chips(up to ~40W each) mounted on a 90 x 90cm frame.

0 - 0 - 0
0 - 0 - 0

2 x hlg320 wired in parallel to reach ~560W / 16sqf

driving them with 2 parallel drivers MW HLG-320H-C2800B --- (3 in series 3 parallel) -
your cxbs will run @ high efficient 1866mA (make shure that each series have the ~same Vf)

How do you wire two drivers in parallel to run a 3s3p circuit?
You do not recommend an electro noob to wire two high voltage drivers together to one power source with 5,6Amps or do you..?
You should keep such advice for yourself, mate!

You can mix different COB's in a series circuit, only have a look at the drivers voltage range. HLG-320H-C1400 should be within 114 and 228vdc. That's enough for up to six 36v COB's...

If I were you, I would take 8 Luminus CXM22, all 3500°K, but in CRI90.
The CXM22 is currently the most efficient COB and you can get it from cobkits for less than 20 bucks per COB. But you need the HLG-320H-C1050B to drive each COB at 50w and be able to add two more COBs later.

They have even said they will put a lower aamount so i dont have pay as much on shipping
With 8 pin fin heatsinks we are already talking about 50-100 $ US international shipping. I bought a couple of times from Jerry, but without a heat sink, and each time it was $ 40 shipping with dhl. Incl. it would be 100$ at least with dhl..
