I need help and I'm freaking out /: so I came back from work and I noticed my backpack was open and my edible was gone so my dog ate it, it was about Ima say 90-100mg chocolate bar and she's been laying down sleeping since midnight and idk whether to take her to the vet or just let her sleep it off I guess any response will really help /:

Too late now, let her sleep it off. If she's breathing good, and her heart rate isn't like a jackhammer she's fine.

I had a border collie that lived to 20, gave her a bit of edibles when she was older and uncomfortable.

She might have had a rough one. Not sure if dog's would feel anxiety or paranoia. Give her some love, water, food, rest.

I think she was paranoid because when we tried to pet her she would move her head away like if she was scared but rn shes sleeping idk if we can give her milk to calm down the high

If you have access to any cbd products, maybe get some. Cbd will counteract the thc calming her down. That's a good one too remember if you ever get uncomfortably high.

on a serious note, it's the chocolate that is making her sick not the weed. chocolate can and has killed many a dog before.

just do a google search for symptoms of dog poisoning by chocolate to make sure she isn't exhibiting any of those symptoms. if not, let her sleep it off.

Why not just pick up the phone and call a vet for advice? I'm betting it would be far more effective than reading opinions here. You made a mistake and she is paying the price so do all you can to make it right.

Well she threw up in the morning and she's asleep right now so I don't think she has those symptoms but just hope it goes away soon

if he' not in a legal state, i wouldn't make that call. if the vet is a dick, he picks up the phone and calls the cops. or worse.

Yeah, I heard the DEA has been monitoring all calls to every vet hospital because their border stops aren't paying off like they used to.
