I got a 1m x 1m space in a small tent where i want to experiment with ebb and flow.
However buying a table isnt really a option as everything i can find on local shops is not deep enough.

I've seen people advise using self build sandbox with pond liner as bottom..But i don't understand, how to properly attach drainage hoses onto pond liner without getting leaks etc?

I tried to be creative and think outside the box, so i found a child pool (non inflatable) which has the right depth and size for the job, however same problems with drainage holes accure here as well.

any ideas? :)

Yeah, I've converted big totes into flood tables. They're pretty inexpensive. I use 1" ebb and flow fittings (Amazon) for a bulkhead drain.

Easy peasy

At the big home improvement stores here, they have these big plastic tubs called Plantainers. They work great and are about $20 US. I have a few round ones that are probably 1m diameter and about 30 cm deep.
