I have large area and did the math and got a big 8"er. Wow sounded like a freight train. Sent it back got the 6". Still very loud and a very good brand. Built a very large insulated box and still it rumbles but is in insulated building so when on it is late and no one will be close enough. Point is they are all loud period!! Don't be fooled. The only thing that you will find as quiet as you need is a computer type fan. So you might get two... Don't think though that a weed can't have a little to little ventilation and not do just fine.
