need some help planning my closet grow.

hi guys. i want to grow some plants in a closet and i just want some guidelines. the surface is little less than 1sq meter, and height is about 180-190 cm. so im planning to put in there some cinderella 99, and some fast finishing indica like hash plant or nl or indica hybrid(dont be afraid to reccomend other indica strains or sativa strains that would suit me). so the biggest problem i got is that i dont know if a 400W will work in that space (worried about heat, and cant put an extractor fan in there). also i plan on putting them in soil, so what can i add to the soil to make it more plant friendly, im useing normal potting soil.... wanna line the inside with mylar. how many p[lants do you think i can get in there? this are my first things i need clarification on. Also any other advice, idea or plan is most welcome here. Peace RIu

no exhaust fan? how are you planning to circulate air? your plants need fresh air getting into the closet (passive or active intake), and the hot air should be removed from the cab with an exhaust.. about fast finishing indicas, i just recently finished a Nirvana Bubblelicious grow, it finished flowering in 6 weeks (!) since i switched to 12/12. you can see it in my thread. about soil, i use a 50/50 mix of potting soil and perlite. that gives the roots more air and space to grow comfortably with less risk of root rot. I think you could fit 4 plants in a square meter but i'd go with 2 bigger ones. good luck!!!

as avrum said, you need air flow for your plants, heat issues. think about it plants need fresh air with co2 in order to breath, if there in a closet and that take up all the co2 growth will start slowing down not only that temps will start rising to around 85 plus this will prevent anymore growth and slowly kill your plants.

You can put 4 plants in 1 sqm if you don't veg them for too long using small pots (3 - 5 Gall), or you can put one plant in soil, veg for 6 weeks (in a larger pot). You have a lot of vertical space and enough floor space to grow a monster plant.

I'm sorry to say but you can't put a 400 watter in there without some form of extraction.

The soil mix you use should be light, with good drainage. Should have some perlite in it to hold moisture for longer too, the PH should be no more than 6.5 (check the label for soil info) Be sure not to use any added nutes, if the soil has any form of slow release nutes in it, at least not in the first month.

ty all for replying. so i guess i need air extraction or ventilation of some sort. how do you advise on making some kind of air extraction/ventilation that would work for my closet ? i dont really want to drill holes and stuff, just so the closet looks normal... any tips or ideas anyone ? also any thing that you think it's worth mentioning and would help me, please dont hold back. peace guys
