I'm getting my grow op goin and I got a 1000 watt hps light in a small bathroom and the heat is terrible...in 10 min it went from 80 degrees to 100. Will fans only blow hot air around and so I will need a fan in the ceiling pulling hot air hot, 2-3 oscillating fans AND and AC? If so, what btu's for the 1000 watt hps in such a small area???

A cooltube is effective for controlling heat for such a large light I used one with success in a small closet with 1000 watts of hps running 20hrs a day. Make sure you have adequate exaust fans too depending on how hot the air is you are pulling from the outside you may not need A/C.

:mrgreen:Wal-mart rocks its like a grow superstore I could set up a grow shopping only at wal-mart minus good lights

potroast

Uses the Rollitup profile
To answer your question about controlling heat, what you need to do is exhaust the hot air. That will force cooler air to enter, and your temps will lower.
