Need To Buy a Home - BUT WHERE??

Because they want that $$$ and the greedy industry helps make the laws.

And sure. It sucks for caregivers trying to make a living off of their grow. But let's be real here.

With 12 plants, 4 lights, and 2 8x4 grow tents, I can stay legal, grow enough for my own personal use, rosin like half of it, make edibles and caps with all the chips, supplement my income if I want AND still have weed just going bad in jars becuase it's so old. Lol.

And if you can't then we need to talk, I'll give you some tips. Lol. I gave some guy some bud the other day and he asked where it was from and when I said I grew it he lost his mind and wanted me to teach his friend the he buys shit from. Lol.
HA! I've been growing longer than you bud. My shits on kind loves level or better. I have a lot of people up in Denver who say the top 3 best strains they've ever smoked was stuff i grew. I Pull 1-1.5 lbs/light on a regular basis from quality strains like gorilla glue/cookies/fire og. 2+ from high yielders like blue dream, sour d, etc. wish there was a competition me and you could enter some bud in like there was last year in the pueblo cup.
Anyone with decent genetics can grow decent bud -- no skill required. Just go to kind love or somewhere you can get half ass decent clones and you'll grow better product than 50% of the dispensaries right off the bat even if you have no clue what your doing. But perfecting those genetics on the other hand is a completely different story. Your sounding pretty cocky for someone who has only been growing on and off the last couple years.

And just FYI -- I would highly recommend against growing 12 plants right now. I have a plant count over 48, but won't grow anymore than 3 in veg and 3 in flower right now -- anymore than that and the state can choose to take you to court over it. Had it happen to a buddy recently who was growing 12 plants. Had all his paperwork in order and he's still having to go to court over it. If your anywhere from pueblo to Denver right now (including springs) they are really being some ass holes. Being very anti-cannabis at the moment. Do your thing though bro.

And you seem pretty defensive considering only the first sentence of my post was directed at you. If you read the other posts that should be clear but my bad for only quoting your post as it was the last one.

The rest was directed at people(WDP) bitching about plant count and square foot(which btw I've seen no info on the sqft thing) That is what I meant by hit me up and I'll give advice. To anyone that can't make it with 12 plants or 150sqft when you can easily pull 3lbs a month, twice that if you really wanted.

Based on our previous interactions I thought you were a cool dude but since you wanna come at me like that....

It's not cocky if its true. My bud and extracts are better than any I've seen from people on this forum or from the dispensaries.

Does it matter that I only started 3 years ago? Growing solid btw, not on and off. Just because I quit posting a lot in this ghost town doesnt mean I quit growing.

Experience plays a factor but so does my intelligence plus I put more time and effort and passion and love into my stuff and its all personal, not for profit, thats why it turns out so well. That and I grow small 100% organic plants, not for yield.

I also don't rest on my laurels and hang out and bury my head in hugbox forums thinking I've been growing for a long time so I don't need to expose myself to the community or get better.

When I look at the pro's pics online it reminds me of my own pics so much it's crazy. Just look at my IG if you doubt me. I even get shootouts from Kind Love, lol... https://www.instagram.com/p/80gUB_SbU7/

My last harvest I'd consider shitty compaired to the previous and its still more fire than 90% of what I see online. Shit, the dude(respected Denver extract artist) that's rosining my bud has asked me like 3 times if I'm sure I dont want job in the industry. Lol.

Granted I'm still learning and need to get me a controlled slow dry setup but yea. I'll put my shit up against yours or anyone elses any day.(Excpet for people like Vitus, man is a cannibis god) Lol. I'm not saying that you don't know what you are doing but I'm saying that I sure as hell do.

PS> I agree that genitics are a huge factor but please tell me more about the kid gloves hype strains you grow, lol. I mean you sound like a guy walking into the dispensary for the first time, "cookies, glue, sour d, bluedream" lol.

what does he charge ? have you ever tried to make it at home with parchment and hair straightener?

i'm just getting clued in about rosin
A hair straightener is not ideal.
There are some home-based consumer models out there. Give it a little time though as there are some new products coming out to increase the efficiency of the squish. It's fun to do. :bigjoint:

Dude said he normally charges 35% but we settled on 20%

He uses a 20 ton press with 5x5 low temp plates. The results are pretty amazing. Said it cost him around $2k total but it's all high quality, he runs lbs at a time.

And yea. Flat irons suck but if you want a $20 solution and rosin that tastes like burnt popcorn that will work.

There are some pre-built solutions out there but they are either total shit, some rebranded t-shirt press with no pressure, or some other POS. Ive seen a couple that actually look decent but they have a $2-4k price tag.

If you want to get into rosin first you need to figure out how much you wanna press at once. If it's just personal, a few nugs at a time, I'd get a cheap ass 1-5 ton press from harbor freight and try to find some good low temperature plates. The highest cost right now is the plates and temp controllers.

Yea. Like I said. Personal use stuff you can build out shit cheap. It's all depends on how much you use the equipment, how much you wanna press at once, how much you care about temperature accuracy, consistently, and even heat distribution.

The guys spending thousands to build their own are the guys dialing in each stran, playing with all the variables, including how fresh/cured or how dry or moist the bud is, and how it all effects flavor and consistancy, shit like that. Some of them are even using nuematic presses.

The de facto cheapo solution right now seems to be take apart a flat iron, either one that can get down to 180 accurately or put in some kinda voltage regulator yourself. Then glue the plates to a Quick Grip or something similar.

The results with that are mixed and it's kind of a pain to use. Spend a little more and you can get a cheap 1-5 ton press and it's so much better and eaiser. The plates are the hardest and most expensive part right now really, if you want something decent that is.

Yea man. For sure. Thanks.

For the moment, I have too much rosin as it is.

Thinking about using it for edibles but it smells and smokes so damn good that would be a waste. Lol.
