Merry Christmas! The one holding the wine was arguably the best looking of that bunch. The shaky tsingtao induced pic does not do her justice. My wife and the hostess of the evening, who is fucking hot, were off camera to the right. Went to karaoke after and she was wasted. Her hands were everywhere. Needed to grab the…
Haven't done too much other than orgasmic dinners every night. We've been trading who gets sick every couple days. Went back to the family compound last night and snapped a pic for you guys.
Going to the capital of the province here on Friday for a long weekend. I've never ridden a train. Something I've consecutively put on the bucket list threads here. So I convinced the wife to book us tickets on the new bullet train to get there. 220mph. What normally is a 90+ minute drive from terminal to terminal will take us 20 minutes. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited. I hope the train speed advertising is just as truthful as their candy.
Tell them you're from RIU and they should let you sit up front with the driver . Take pics of the speedometer!
Pretty cool not to see relay antennas on that Pagoda. Do they have Red Box video rentals there? and do people really ride around with plastic rain coverings on there bikes? seems it would be hard to see anything coming at you, maybe that the point. lol Thanks for posting and hope your family is feeling better.
Oh there are plenty of other eyesores to sour the landscapes. Like cranes! Holy shit I've never seen so many cranes. Have not seen Redbox but cable in general seems to be pretty plentiful and appears to offer more choices than American programming. Those plastic rain covers in fact do exist and are rather plentiful here. I'll snap a pic just for you Papy.
Made it to the capital. The train was pretty cool. Saw a lot of the country in 20 minutes. Never reached the 220mph but the sign overhead did read 280km/h. Think we're gonna take another one a bit further at some point. Met my wife's friend and went to a good dinner where the wait staff dressed up and danced as traditional Miao people. The jury is still out as to whether they were actually Miao or not. A couple I took from the train. A lot were blurry. A lot of it was in tunnels. I read the province is so mountainous that 83% of the track is compromised of bridges and tunnels.
Well finally after 7 years and 4 trips over here we made it to Xijiang Qianhu Miao village. Thanks to the Doctor and the Doctor's wife. It was worth the wait. Awesome culture, scenery and architecture. Largest Miao village in China. Most people have never heard of the Miao but they have heard of the Hmong. Made famous by Clint Eastwood's "Get off my lawn movie". Well the Hmong are just Miao that fled China in the 1800's. Well any who…
Well the awesome panoramas my phone made are way too big for the uploader so I painstakingly made this one using an app. Still doesn't do it justice.
