Hey guys!

I just want to start off by saying this forum is awesome, there is so much valuable information on here along with helpful members!

I'm in between houses and until my new house is built I want to setup a 4x4 tent in my current one. I've already decided on a Gorilla Grow Tent, and a GH Waterfarm hydro system. I need assistance choosing my COB LED setup. I decided to go with COB lighting because of the efficiency and efficacy.

I live in Toronto, Canada, I want an ease of use system. I've seen growmau5 kits and timber grow light kids, they all look really good, but I think I need some more input before I purchase. Does anyone have any expertise in this area? I'm leaning toward the growmau5 kits

Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advanced!

as far there where no revolution during the last 2 months i would go for CXB3950 3500k.
I would say you cant go that wrong with 3 bars with 4 3590 each, one meanwell 185 each bar.
That makes 600W COB power, if power cost nothing in your place you may can go higher with the wattage, while this 600w clever used should give a good economic ratio.
(I pay 25 cent a KW/H, to explain it :bigjoint:)

Thanks! I was thinking 12 cobs as well. In terms of power, what other options do I have in terms of upgrading from 600 watt with the meanwhile 185

you can drive the Leds harder to get more light, 70W each cxb3590 schould be quite effective also.
You can switch the driver to have some options there.
A HLG-240H Meanwell should do it too, if i remeber right, a few percent less effective of course.
you can dim it partially if you like and are pretty variable with these.

The above light looks good and have good stuff inside.
I prefer a wider spreaded arrangement of cobs, cause they dont penetrate so good, but they cover perfectly well, if spread a bit.
Depends of course also how you grow, scrog, sog, trees etc.

COB setups are pretty low profile compared to convetional lamps.
Also you can go nearer, they emmit less heat.
Perfect for scrog i would say, made for it.

I can't wait to get my equipment so I can put it all together and start growing.

I'm think 3 rows of 4 cxb3590 run on 3 hlg-185h-c1400.

I think that makes them about 56% efficient

have a look at the citizen 1818 or luminus 22 both of the cobs are cheaper and they are more efficient over 50w
