Nope, they weren't waiting for the Cure. I really have no friends. I've had a few people say I'll take whatever you don't want but no one who would want to sit down and smoke with me me.
Still trying to figure out what to do with all my excess.
I've made butter twice. The first batch I made out of a male plant and I threw 3/4 lb cannabutter away because the effect was so slight that it wasn't worth the green taste. The second batch was psychoactive but so strong of a green taste that I've been trying (mostly unsuccessfully) to give it away.
The two times I made Canna oil it worked well in brownies but there is only so many Edibles that I can eat by myself. The first batch gave my wife the uncontrollable gigglies but then she ended up with a seizure so now she's afraid.
Now I'm thinking about vacuum packing and burying it in the yard.

A great way to reduce the green taste is to rinse your butter a couple times.
Once I've mixed the ground up material and the butter and let it cook for awhile (I used my crock pot), I put it through cheesecloth to squeeze the butter out of the material. That's not rinsing it, however.
The Crock-Pot gets wiped out, the butter goes back in and I add a gallon or so of hot water to give the remaining green stuff someplace to go. I have a picnic cooler that I put a 20lb bag of ice in, set the crock in it and let it cool enough to solidify the butter. This makes it easy to remove the butter and then dump the water.
I repeat this process until I've done it three times and the remaining water is mostly clear. The butter remains plenty potent, you don't lose much and it tastes MUCH better!

If I were currently smoking I'd be proud to smoke with you. Or you can smoke and I'll sit and chill. Don't bury flowers though, too much of a chance of rot. Look into a rosin press. Rosin should keep indefinitely and no stoner could refuse it.
It's fishing season though. Time for another drug test and a lot of maintenance. Once you get the pleasure of coming in to port in the dark, with fog, and a lot of commercial boat traffic, you will be glad you aren't high. Hell, you will be glad to be back on land most nights (but not all nights... flat calm, billions and billions of stars a hundred miles from land, dolphins playing in the lights, a warm breeze, luminescence in the water....). Those other days, the option of walking home under water isn't very practical........

I am looking to upgrade my tent to a larger size....4x4 would be nice. is anyone getting rid of one?

Consider having the small one for veg and using the bigger one for bloom. This will allow you to take clones if you want to keep a certain strain, run photo period plants and do perpetual scheduling, where you put a plant or two into bloom on a regular rotation, such as monthly.

If they're not ready to chop, does it make sense to trim off buds that are not getting any light and all the lower vegetation?

I processed 2.5 oz trim and 2.5 oz bud with about 4 lbs dry ice tonight. First time trying. Was really easy and i still have about 6 lbs of ice left for tomorrow.
Got:
19.1g blonde 73micron kief.
14g 120m kief and
12.6g 160m kief.
Now what do I do with it? Press it and put it in a draw? Cook with it? Vape it? Tincture? Can't decided what to learn what to do first.
Cook with kief? Does that reduce the green taste? What kind of a ratio should I use?
It still needs to be decarboxylated before it is potent. Anyone know, can it be decarboxylated in a mason jar?
