My white widow autos name is Daphne. She is 6 weeks old today. I started her in a 5 gal fabric pot with roots organic+25℅ growstones since you don't want to repot autos. The center section the size of a solo cup was light warrior. By the time she hit the hot soil she was big enough to use it.

She did great for 4 weeks. She was 20" tall with 10 tops.

Then 1 week into flower and she ran out of nitrogen. Fed her too lightly and now she's is half yellow. Noob mistakes. All 7 of my plants are yellow. A friend of mine thinks it may be too late.
Check out my WW Auto grow in Hydro-

Ttystikks, can you share with us your room set up? Someone mentioned you/it on Crazy Dago's Roundtable last night and now I'm curious. (pointing me to a thread describing it is also fine) Unrelated, gods I am enjoying this weather!

Also, I don't know if anyone here knows, but setting up COBs for a DIY set up: I would think that you would want to space them evenly from each other, but closer to the walls by 3/4 or even 1/2 because you aren't overlapping light. (you are just getting a reflection) Growmau5's videos don't really address it and I can't find any threads about that. I'm going to say fuck it and build today, and eventually check with a PAR meter for changes, but it would be cool to know before I put it together. (;

OK so i may have dialed it down to simple overwatering, maybe fox farm ocean forest has something to do with the problems im seeing but i think its my fault, they were starting to claw, and yellow from the stem to the tip of the leaf, ph of water is always around 6.5 and im not using any nutes yet so thats crossed off the list, they are drying out and looking better, so what im thinking is soil too moist all the time the roots couldnt breathe, stop drinking as much and start to look like what is a nutrient problems, if i could post pics i would, 26 days old now, i may have been slightly overwatering from the start, first grow, nervous, didnt want em to dry out too much, but now i think i may have been slightly overwatering by watering too frequently, still a learning curve but i think im getting the hang of it

Unless the wall is walkway, space by 1/2. Yes, COB LED is best when deployed in arrays, just like any other light source. The more even the array the better, but it needn't be an exact checkerboard thing.

Nice to hear I'm famous lol maybe they should interview me lol

Actually even spacing will create a hot spot on the middle relative the rest of the garden. I'm setting up Fusion360 to do a layout an see how to position the lights for the best spread. As soon as my poor brain get's over the tutorial I'll let you know what I find.

I was going to play with that and the lighting specific CAD program (luxeon?) But I just haven't had the time to learn how to use them. I'm super interested in seeing what you do with them!

Can anybody make a call on these- want to start flush( I'm doing Hydro) but don't want to start too soon- Still eating and drinking alot(2 gal.+ per day) but I'm letting PPM drop lower( around 550) as kind of a pre-flush. Hard to read trics- some clear, some cloudy, but varies bud to bud- same with pistils-most curled and orange, but a few still showing a little whiteness.Decisions,decisions-want this 1st grow to be AAA.

Your best bet is to post some closeups of the trics on your journal and on some of the other forums and see if any white widow people can help out. You could also post them to the breeder's site if you bought seed.

Ok, I started my next run with 2 each of Sunshine DayDream (Bodhi), Goji OG (Bodhi), and Ninja Fruit (Ocean Grown). After an 18-24 hour soak and paper towel treatment, 4 of 4 Bodhi's had a 3/4" tap roots and one of the ocean grown had a tap root. The other Ocean grown seed looked like it was beginning to split so it's probably ok. Tossed them into potting soil with microrhizae for the long dark wait (I hate waiting).

These are all regular seeds so I won't end up with 6 females. Hoping for 4, but I can live with 1 (though it will be a long veg).

I'll probably also grab some clones from the current run as a backup. I have 2 more slots in my plant count until I toss some males (or lose some seedlings). Only problem is my veg tentlette (only 18x24) is kinda full with blueberry (fruit), blackberry (fruit), cat nip and cat grass starts as well. I'll have to figure out a way to dome them without using an 10x20 tray. Fire Peppers have to wait I guess.

But the real trick is I'm going to be away for a straight 8 days. My caregiver better step up to baby sitting!

Oh, and the big girls are doing great also but are stinking the room up; I've had to run the filter full time to keep up. I'm going to wait till I get back to flip them. They need a little stretch before I scrog them.

Blue Widow update .... seeds went into the water 1/31 and they sprouted right away ... but once the broke through the soil they've taken their sweet time about getting going. Finally seeing some good growth ... they're at the 3rd true leaf node and it looks like I'll be topping them this week. I'll be updating the grow diary Tuesday to start week 5. Don't know if it's the strain ... Dinafem says they're slow starters, the soil mix, or the lite Botanicare supplements but it's looking good.
