Those clamp lights are pretty handy eh? I just picked up two today, but did wiring for the rest of my lights- bit of a pain. Looks like a nice setup.

PLUG ALL OF THOSE WIRES INTO A SURGE PORTECTER AND TAPE THAT TO THE BOARD SO YOU WILL ONLY HAVE ONE LOOSE DANGLY WIRE TO MOVE AROUND. im so copying this shit....

seriosly are you aiming to flower with those lights,switch or just add more? it might work for you and you might get good buds but its just not working for me so fare with almost the same amount of watts as you have everytime one of my plants gets about six inches tall the leaves start drooping and i believe it might be from not enough light. i moved some of my plants aoutside today to see if theey would perk up in the sun.:-|

There will be more lights for flowering... I have a few more 85W and 42W bulbs for them as they get bigger... they're all plugged into a surge protector, but it's easier to move them around if they aren't all connected together, so I have them draping up into a zip tie so I can adjust the slack as I move the board... I think they'll be fine, there are 3 plants and 425W right now...

you have me beat i only have like 250w right now. but there are only two plants under that now. when i reconstruct my grow closet i will start a batch of urkle, hopefully i will have my damn camera by then and atleast i know what the hell im doing this time. if my plants show to be female and are not pollinated allready by the male like fifty feet downwind then i will raise the clones indoors aswell.

member on this site working on his second cfl grow, his first was masterkush and now hes growing whitwidow. he uses the scrog techniqe and gets alot of primo bud from cfls. check it out!

$26 each? Ouch. I was going to buy 4 of the 6500k, but for $100 the wiser plan would be to just get another ballast + a MH bulb. You find yours somewhere cheaper?

Not really... my plan was really to use the CFLs for the savings in heat and power consumption...

ive allready invested enough cash into my cfl grow that i could of had a low wattage hps grow for the same price. next wek i should be getting two 70w hps lights from home depot.i will use my 2 42w cfls for side lighting.

How much more heat are you seeing from the HPS, versus the lumens you're getting?

the 70w hps fixtures at home depot come with the bulb and ballast included for like 30$ each i have not purchased mine yet gotta wait til friday then i will tell about how much better the lumen and penetration and shit are but right now i dont know. i finally constructed a grow box out of partacle board last night and painted the inside white this morning. i was searching around my boss' shop yesterday and found a 100w cfl security light.thev bulb is fucking huge. i havent been able to see where it sais how many lumens it puts out or kelvins either but the light is a bright blue and i love that becasue my 42w lights are a deep reddish. so i mounted the light fixture to the hood of my new box and it illuminates the place so nicely!!! the box is roughly three feet tall and two foot wide on two sides and three foot on the other two. im not good at math so iu dont know how many sq.ft. that is. im also still thinking of adding the hps or two when i get them after i get the exhaust hooked up.

yeah i guess 6sq.ft. sounds about right, im about to fill it with about 300w of light i just need to finish cutting the hole for the fan to blow in and i guess now that my grow is going to be completely inclosed i need an outtake fan too.
