Where did you get that? I was looking all over for one of those today. I need something round or square that can hold 4-6 bulbs. Thanks in advance!
It's an outdoor or indoor fixture... you buy the box and then there are holes in it to put in the sockets... Lowes, Home Depot, they should all have them, just go snooping around the electrical area of one of those stores, you'll have all kinds of ideas... I didn't even think to use that thing until I saw it... only thing I didn't like about it was that it made me have to have the entire assembly like a foot up in the air cuz of the size of the bulbs, and they are too big to put out horizontally... you might be better off to check out something a little more low profile, I know the change I made is much better than what I started with...

my 100w cfl kicks out some heat too, when my fan is off the plastic cover gets hot as hell. i duct taped the fixture to the hood of my new growbox and left it for an hour to see how much heat it produced when i had returned the tape had softened its grip because of the heat i guess. but with the fan on its consistantly about 70 degrees. my new box is sweet i have two 27w on three of the sidewalls on y splitters and on the fourth wall, above the fan, is another y splitter with two 42w cfls.and the hood has a 100w cfl fixture.if there still is a light problem i will swith the 27w with 42w bulbs but that will make the box even hotter probly in th 80s and im not sure wether my fan can chill that.

been trying to grow some fuckin urkle for its indica properties but out of the 20 i planted a couple dAys ago none have sprouted, the pill bottle that they were brought to me in had a strange perfume odor to it for getting thru security i guess but i think it may have effected the seeds. two of my plants by the river are deffinately female and one of the two has some nice lower branches that i am going to clip and move into my box after they get all they can from the sun today, i will let them spend this afternoon and tonight in darkness because the sun goes down early here and they are probly used to it so tommorrow at 7 in the morning they will be getting a totally new kind of light until 7 at night, which will still stress them because the sun goes down at 5:30. but they need to get back to my schedule.

and also i have some sprouts on my roof that i gound the other day, i had climbed up there when i first moved in to pull alot of ferns off my roof and i got a little comfortable and burned a bowl, when i was packing my bowl i found three or four seeds in the sack and just tossed them. i need to start being more careful, i once lived in a shack in texas where there was a stream in our lawn next to the front porch, and i would be diggin thru a brick of mexi weed and toss the seeds over my shoulder, when i moved from that place abnout six months later i wanted to try to get the deposit back by fixin up the place really well and i was out mowing the back field where the stream led to an opening in the woods where the property ended there were six foot tall plants everywhere.
