for your "proper" ppm, let your meter tell you what to do. each strain and setup is different for every grower.

at 650, does it drop or go up? how fast does it drop or go up?

if at 650 and the next day it's at 450, your nutes are too weak. if the next day, they are at 670, your nutes are too strong.

if they stay at 650, you are right on the money
Honestly my ppms never fluctuate no matter what because i start slow and increase by about 100 ppm ever week ot seems they like where they are...i will certainly keep an eye out for that though..

i don't ever go above 650 for the whole grow. i'm at high altitude though. 1000 ppm would roast my plants.
When I'm in my 4th week of bloom, I'm in the 1200 ppm range in a recirculating drip system, and my plants love it, but I am very aggressive when it comes to food. I do change out my res every 3 weeks and run Flora Clean so I give my roots a break from my abuse (lol)

you don't want too much fan. just enough so they rock back and forth to help strenghten the stems
I agree not too much fan, just enough to 'move the leaves'. The real reason why we need fan is not to strengthen the stem but to remove the stagnant air moisture surrounding the leaves. As plant perspire, it develop a very thin layer of moist air around its leaves. In the wild, this is a protective/regulating measure of plants against rapid evaporation of its water. But since we control water indoor, plant need not to worry that there wont be enough water to resupply its need, so to speak. In essence, plant dont need that thin layer of moist air, by using your fan, plant can release as much water molecules as it wants thus maintaining turgor pressure.

Try this experiment.

Mark the starting water level of your reservoir

compare the water level of the following....
a) dont use fan at all for a whole day, at the end of the day, mark the water level of your reservoir
b) use fan for a whole day (directly moving the leaves), at the end of the day, mark the water level of your reservoir.

I bet you would be amaze as to how much water your plant use with the fan on

Ok im gonna increase ventillation and check again during lights out and snap a photo. My air pump is pretty good so now the only thing i can think of may be as you said may be circulation. Ive got a 12 inch fan in my tent and i may just need to increase the exhaust fan size...i will post a picture during lights out and see hows they are doing. Thanks a lot for the info
Your air pump looks really good. What's the rating on that, gallons/hr? And how many outlet do you use for each reservoir? I like the long one air stone just like rkymtmman said
