Now that it is starting to finally feel like spring, Im thinking about trying my hand at an outdoor grow here in NE. I have a few questions

When do you guys/girls usually start the season? and when is typical harvest?
It sounds like some people have already started germinating indoors, When do you usually move outdoors?
Are there any strains that do particularly well in our area?
I have a family of deer that like to walk through part of our yard, and some rabbits. How big of a threat are they?

Thanks in advance

1-3" forecast for southern new england this weekend... it is never ending.

But you probably don't want to be in the ground until the end of may, at the earliest unless you can provide some extra light and a tent to protect the young plants.

hey, welcome.i don't go outside much before june 1st.some guys do,but im not that rushed up.ive started my germination process, sprouting tails as we speak.
i look for early finishers.early to mid september.getawaymountainseeds would be a good place to start.
as far as the deer and rabbits? yeah, lol, they could be a problem.they might get at your vegging plants.i live in heavy woods, all kinds of wildlife.ive grown without a fence(im fenced in now)and did not have problems but i sprayed my area down weekly with liquid fence.good to deter rabbits and deer.i have a shitload of rabbits on the property.
there are lots of good growers on this thread.stick around and all your questions will be answered:peace:
