Hello all, Ive been a member for a minute and just finished getting my card... so now that im growing legally i went and uilt me my cabinet... i would like to post some pics and will do in a few minutes...
.
.
This cabinet is 6 feet tall and 3 feet wide.. 18 inches deep. I was concerned about outside temps since i have it in my garage so i lined the walls with carpet padding (skiny type) and then i got some emergency blankets and lined the walls with it... the light...

Well i was going to go with CFL's But after seeing all these people trying to prove that you could and that it would be good i decided not tooo... Most of the pics with floro's i saw was the vegetative state which we now its good for.. but when i saw some pics of the buds i was disappointed...

light = 400 HPS...50,000 lumens baby!!!

I will be setting this UP in a scrog style... With being able to grow 6 plants legally i figure it will be packed with buds... well see if that plants arent too cramped... i figred they would be fine because of the SCROG..

Umm... well the rest you will be see with the pics and then i can answere your questions!!...
.
.
.For my question.. After spending a bunch of money on my setup i figured ill go cheap and buy the walmart ph up and down that they have for the pools... i have messed around with the dosage in a 1 gallon jug and got it down to get the right 5.2-5.7 value... my question is ... will the sodium bisulfate that it uses for the PH down hurt the plants?.. has anyone else used the pool grains ph up and down?...
.
.Ok so im going to take the pics now..
.
.
be back in a bit. :peace:

Well, If i have the bottom fans unregulated by the speed control ( loud!) I can get this room down to the high 70's... 76 -78.. With the bottom fans halfway going (a little less noisy.. as much as the other noises...) i can get them in the 84-87 range.. the humidity i have been seing between 35 and 59%.. :joint:

that seems a little hot to me. how tall is you flowering room again?
you might need to add some more venting up high to reduce the heat.

the height issue is going to be a tricky one... I had to go out and get a shorter tub for my bubbler.. its only holds about 11 gallons... But i figure that as longs as the roots are in water and air it should be fine... im not going to be moving them since im doing scrog... Which is key in this system due to the height issue.... it is recomended for a 400 watt to have the light between 1 and 4 feet above the plant... well i sure hope that 2 feet or even 1 1/2 from the top is fine cause i dont have that much room...

In case you already new all that and just wanted measurments... hehehhe...

entire flowring section: 58 inches (close to 5 feet)

from top of bucket to light: 3 feet

There ya go buddy..
:joint:

58 inches 5 feet.. 3 fet.
