New grow/grower. Is my CFL setup sufficient.

Good morning all,
I am a major city based new grower. I plan to grow 3 feminized northern light seeds. I have a 2x2x4 grow tent (covered with Mylar reflection.) I plan to start the plants in solo cups and then transfer them to 3 gallon fabric pots for maximum air to the roots. I plan to ventilate the tent with one 6 inch fan on top and an air intake fan on bottom. I will plant in coco coir and fertilize with fox farms trio formula. My major question is concerning lighting. Using cfl bulbs of medium wattage how many should I use ( both daylight and soft white)
Does my set up sound good? What would you guesstimate my overall yield of 3 plants to be if given 2- 3 months from seed to harvest

Sorry to see this go unnoticed for 2 weeks. Maybe a bump up will help you out.

I will say that your yield won't be anything to write home about with CFL's. Good luck!

If you can afford better, get better. There are some CFL die-hards around here, but being real every other light source is better, and in a space that small it's not very expensive to step up to something more suitable.

Three plants is a lot in a 2x2 area, and unless they are autos you won't be getting anything done in 2 months. One plant will probably yield the same as three, and save you some seeds. Less of a safety net if something goes wrong, however.

With only 4ft of height I'd get something flat and LED-y to put in there, again if you can afford it.

I also recommend led or hps..

I dont understand why many growers want to plant in small pot and then change it after it gets bigger. Your veg time takes 1-2week longer and there are no major benefits. I would plant the seed straight in 3 gallon pot. Just dont over water and you will be fine.

You'd get more airflow if you put both your fans as exhausts up the top, and used passive intake.
It just makes it a bit harder to get a light seal for your nights :)
