New grower help

Hi all, I just registered in the forum and I am looking for some tips to help me with my first grow.

So, I ordered some Northern Lights Autoflower from sensi seeds. I wanted an easy to grow breed and this seemed like a good option. I germinated 3 seeds and everything seemed ok until some weeks ago. The 3 are now on their 46th day since I put them on soil and they are all flowering. I have the balcony on daylight, where they can get some direct sunlight, and move them inside at night (10h outside).

So the problems I am facing are the following:
  • one plant looks like a different breed with much larger leaf, looks "bushier" and a very rare smell compared with the other 2
  • I noticed some spots on the leafs and the some of lower leafs started to dry and die
  • on plant is smaller than the other 2 but is flowering nicely
I have some pics so you could give me some enlightenment to solve these issues.
Sorry for the newbie questions

p1 is the larger leaf
p2 is the tallest one
p3 is the tiny one

Some questions ...
Why take them in at night? They need all the light got they can get and 10hrs isn't enough.
Get a magnification device of some sort ... looks like you have an insect issue.
If confirmed, some neem oil might be in order.

I did some research and I was under the impression that on flowering stage they would be better off with about 10h of light. I will check for insects. If that is the issue, only the neem oil is recommended or can I use another sort of insect control like biokill?

Not an insect expert but any time you do research always look at multiple sources to avoid bad advice.

As far as the differences in the plants, within a strain there are multiple,"pheno types" that exhibit the characteristics of the genetics to varying degrees. Northern lights is a hybrid from Afghani and Thai lineage. Some seeds will lean more toward one than the other and some will be very balanced.

10 hrs isn't a healthy option for either. Photos go into flower when given 12 hours of darkness ... so a 12/12 schedule. 18/6 is a good veg schedule for photos and a good overall schedule for autos.

I might have misundertood some article I read online! Sorry about that. I will keep them outside from now on.
Just one more thing, do they look like they look good for 45 days? This is my first grow so I dont really know if they are healthy or not.

Thanks a lot

Hi again, I need help asap!

2 days ago one of my ladies started to die suddenly. I have 3 plants and the other 2 are doing fine, one is looking great, the other is a little bit skinny and the smaller one started to dry and die. I have them on the balcony and 2 days ago the temperature rose to almost 40ºC withouth any wind so that could explain it. Also, I did give all 3 the same amount of fertilizer with an NPK rated at 6-3-6.

Can some1 help me? Look at the photos :(

If I had to guess, I'd say heat stress and a Ca/Mg deficiency but ...

Here's a link to a plant problem chart
http://loudclouds.co/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/marijuana-deficiency-chart-jorge-cervantes.jpg

Here's an article that talks about nutrition and environment
http://www.weedfarmer.com/cannabis/nutrientdisorders_guide.php

This is an except that might be helpful ...

"General Feeding Tips - Pot plants are very adaptable, but a general rule of
thumb is to use more nitrogen & less phosphorous during the vegetative period, and the exact
opposite during the flowering period. For the veg. period try a NPK ratio of about 10:7:8 (which of
course is the same ratio as 20:14:16), and for flowering plants, 4:8:8.
Heat - If the lights are too close to the plant, the tops may be curled, dry, and look burnt, mimicking a
nutrient problem. Your hand should not feel hot after a minute when you hold it at the top of the plants.
Raise the lights and/or aim a fan at the hot zone. Room temps should be kept under 85F (29C) -- or 90F"

And last but not least, what's the Ph of the nutrient solution?

I really do not know the PH of the nutrien solution. What I know is that I surely overdosed the 3 plants with the fertilizer and only one of them started to dry and die. I am afraid it will not recover. Now I will just use regular water whenever the soil feels dry.

Only if you keep doing it. If you're worried, flush the one you think is dying any way as a test. Not sure where you're from but see if someone on the general mj growing or plant problems forums can suggest good nutrients available locally for you
