Hey guys and girls,

Im new to the site and have decided to grow some indoor over the winter. I am growing 2 plants, both from seed and i still have yet to determine the sex..needless to say ill be disappointed or very happy in about 2 weeks.

A little info on my grow
I started this grow about 3 months ago with 4 seeds i got from a friend who had great results last year on her harvest. They were green kush, grown outdoors. Given that its winter i didnt have high hopes for anything but figured even if it fails I will have fun trying.
So... I germinated the sededs in a damp paper towel and put it in a zip lock bag, then into a cup and waited 3 days. I was shocked that all had tap roots! So i got right to it and filled up 4 cups with soil, lightly watered it and then popped each seedling into their new homes. I had literally no equiptment here to do this properly so i did the best i could and put the 4 cups under 1 small cfl.
Things went slow, and i mean REALLY slow. It took 6 days for the first one to pop out, this because my place is definitely on the cooler side. Day temps inside are hardly aboven 15C/60F. Anyways..by day 8 all 4 had popped up. I knew that my set up ( 4 cups on a shelf with a single light) definitely wouldnt work in the very near future. I had to mock up a grow area or tent sooner than later, figure out a better light situation, get my temps up bla bla bla. I had these seedlings on 24hr light till this point.
On day 14 I had some time so i built a small grow tent, 4ft tall, 3 feet wide and 2feet deep. Simple set up made from 2x2 and a tarp. It was time to figure out lighting. My first grow i was running hps and mh but i dont have those anymore and decided to try cfl. I found some ply wood, cut 5 small holes and grabbed some old sockets and wires to make a fixture. (Hopefully i can post pics)
I was so happy with the way it turned out considering the materials i had on hand. IT WAS TIME TO MOVE THE GIRLS IN THIER NEW HOME!! Or so i thought. Now, i dont know how i managed to but- i bumped the stand my cups were on and all 4 cups and plants fell to the ground.

I was devistated!
I also now got compelling urge to do this better!

Like anyone who is on a mission I had to figure out a way to get this rignt. This time i went to a local shop and bought some seeds, again not feminized thouh. I decided on grand daddy purple and pink kush, both indicas. I knew my grow room limitations and so i didnt want tall plants.

Man this is turning into a novel sorry haha
I hope i can edit this post and add pics

So, the new grow began!

I bought 3 seeds of each strain and germinated 4 (2 of each) after 3 days only one of the GDP took. I was a little disappointed but figured whatever. I'll plant just this one since my lighting is so crap. Yea, ok lol, 3 weeks later i germinated tge other 2 but ill get into that later.

I was making sure to do this much better this tine around. As soon as the GDP sprouted i covered the cup with a clear bag and put it directly under ONE cfl on a 24hr cycle straift light. I did not want any stretching. Things were going slow again and by week 3 my little sedling was no more than 2inches tall and skinny like a toothpick. Sooo thats when i decided to germinate the other 2, thinking maybe its just a poor growing plant..one of the 2 (PK) took znd so i started her off.

NOW-current
I am 4 days into flower..and conditions this morning almost killed me, and the plant. I Dunno what happened last night but my temps clearly shy rocketed and shit hit the fan. Ive topped, and have been attempting a mix of lst and mainlining. Anyways im going to post this now and see if this is even in the right section, and if i can continue this grow log with pics.

They will bounce back in a day as long as you sort out the environment
I really hope so, for the next few days I am giving them natural light for a few hours a day. I do have a question though, should i drastically lower my temos while its recovering or...?

Nope that will shock them. I’d shoot for 21- 25 deg and pump up the humidity if you can don’t over water. Then it’s a waiting game. The plants don’t look that bad. Just a shame that they were LST’d around the same time. Just be patient
