New Seedling not growing, please help.

Hi everyone,

This is my first post on the website and I am very excited to join the community.
Im hoping to find help on here, so here's my situation: this is my first time growing and Im worried about my little plant. I planted my seed and germinated directly in soil and within 3 days the seed had sprouted, the next 3 days she grew like normal and looked great but now I have seen no changes in 4 - 5 days. Its been a total of 10 days and I feel like she should be a little bigger. The slightly concerning part is the very slight reddish/purple shades on the 2nd set of leaves coming in. Plus the stem is a dark purple but by my understanding that can be completely normal. Note: the dark spot on the "baby leaf" is just the shell of the seed itself.

I understand I should be patient but I just dont want to be sitting back when maybe I should be doing something. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Heres a little more info about my set up:

Seed: Auto Moby Dick from Dinafem seeds
Soil: Malibu Baby bu's biodynamic potting soil mixed with 30% perlite.
Container: 5 gal bucket with drainage holes
Light: 300w LED panel about 15 inches from soil.

Average grow box temps: 74-80 Degrees F
Average Humidity: 45 - 60 %

Thanks in advance! :Love-Plant:

They don't do much the first two weeks, at least above ground. Most growth is in the root zone. Good luck!

Thanks for the fast response! That's what I've read so I'm trying not to worry to much. Just concerned with the slight changes in color on the new set of leaves.

Wrong soil for babies and it wont get much better mate, time to start again. Also i dont like the giant deep pot/bucket its in.

Yepper your soil might be too hot for that seedling.
Just wait it out maybe it will pull through.
Looks like lots of lumber in your soil too.I usually sift through any bagged potting soils that i buy,so its "softer" for my seedlings.GL

So I'm totally screwed? From everything I found that soil is extremely good quality and felt very light and airy. I had heard that 5gal buckets work well

I think I overwatered it in the beginning and it really slowed everything down. I'm hoping she pulls through
