It's growing well now, roots are starting to poke out of the mesh pot already and are hitting the water. I did a few mods to the system, looks like my plant is ready to take off any day now! I'll post a picture later if anyone is interested

Well I guess no one is very interested, but here's a picture anyways. The plant it growing well now, had to move the light up a few inches, and added some more ferts.

Looks a lot better now and adding on a few new leaves. Just watch the water, adjust the pH when needed and you should be ok. Also I'd put a cover or something over the rockwool thats being hit by your light. That will help you prevent algae from growing on your Cube if it's wet.

Thanks for the advice and kind words. It seems to be going well now, and everytime I look at the plant it seems to have grown. I think building the DWC bucket was a great idea

Well my plant has put on some weight, about a week into flowering. I've noticed female pre-flowers so I am very excited. My question is how do I know if its a full female or a herm? Other then looking for male parts? How common are herms?

The only way to tell if it's a herm is by looking for male flowers every day. This is very important because I missed a couple male flowers that showed up on one of my girls, and she pollinated a couple sites on herself that are now full of seeds. Herms are pretty rare as long as you do not stress the plant too much. Be absolutely sure that it gets 100% darkness for 12 full hours and there should be no other reason why it would herm on you.

All females so far. My plant keeps getting taller though to the point where it is burning leaves in the CFL's. I am going to be away for a while over christmas break so i think this will be a big problem. Any solutions?

here's a picture of her.

Oh well, I guess its going to have to learn through negative reinforcement that it should stop growing taller. I wonder how smart she is
