new to auto and i popped my G13 Lab Auto AK and its starting to sprout....i have a question regarding the average size of auto strains.

Once i transplant her out of a the dixie cup into a 1 gallon pot...will she ever need transplanting into something bigger? I'm growing it outdoors in So Cal.

I assume she wont' get very big but how big? will she need a 7gal pot at the most?

with autos you want to put them in the final pot size from the start. im using 3 gallon pots some say 5 gallons.

The one transplant into the gallon container should do it. One gallon should be fine. No way you're going to need a 7 gallon.

I had an auto that reached about 70-80cm in a 3gal pot(only one I've grown). I've heard they can go to over 1m tall some strains, but I think you'd need it in a huge pot to start with as has been suggested.

One gallon pot will equal a small plant from all but the most experiance growers. I recommend 5 gallon smart pots.my plants in 5 gallon typically range from 32-36 inchs.

I guess I'm just repeating what others have said already but as mentioned you really should plant your auto's in their final pot right from the start, no transplanting. But it isn't the end of the world. You're definitely gonna want to x-plant her into her final pot now. 3-5G would be the sweet choice, Smart Pots if possible.
