Give them some more time. Some of mine took 10 days to start showing. And others I was jumping the gun thinking they were males and throwing them out. Had like 12 out of 15 "males" that I killed, some of my best plants, later to find out that i wasnt giving them enough time to shoot pistils. Was seeing a growth but no hairs and was killing them. Finally I knew something wasn't right and gave some "males" an extra couple days which most then began to shoot pistols. Just be patient, but if you are seeing them become clusters, then you know it's a male

Nah those arnt males. not yet atleast. Just be patient. they need a week or more once you set lights to flowering to show any decent signs. Trust me, you'll be able to tell the males from females.

when you see this, then you can cut it down.Screenshot_20170706-075245.png

Yup, males. Either chop, or quarantine depending on what you are trying to do. Either way remove ASAP

Quarantine, as in if you had intentions of taking a clone from a strong female you wanted to keep, and a strong looking male to breed. You would want to keep the male, but quarantined in his own home to take pollen from. Which in turn you would collect and dust onto flowering females in order to create seeds. Consequently and hopefully creating strain with strong and or desired phenotypes from both the mother and father plants. This is what breeding is.

Nope. Im actually thinking on putting them under a screen for the rest of flowering to make the training a bit easier. Has anyone added a screen this late in grow with sucess?

It wouldn't hurt. I added mine at the start of flower, I had to though because I have a few different strains and phenos with a big range a height differences so the trellis was definitely needed

Ok i got some great news. My buddy got a new.hps so he is giving me his old 400 watt hps light so i have it for flowering. Obviously a much better light then what im working with but the heat sorta.scares me. Its an enclosed hooded system so my real question is how much or what kind.of ventilation can i run through hood to save my babies.from.being burned up?. He says he just runs a splitter into his fan and carbon filter. My fan im using isnt strong enough for that soninknow ill have to buy another 1 but im on a budget. And ideas or links that could help me out?

Bro I'm glad you are getting a upgrade.I am running my exhaust to my light, from my light to my carbon filter.I am running a 600 hps in a 4x4 and was having heat problems I put another small fan blowing in between the light and the tops of my plants and that has pretty much solved my heat issue.I didn't have to go out and buy anything I was lucky enough to have the extra fan I used for camping.I know you will get your heat situation worked out I have been watching your grow and I know your creative enough to figure something out.Good luck!

Thanks. Im a little height restricted so i think im going to run a 200 cmf.inline fan through my hood and pray that is enough

I'm not sure of the cfm of my inline fan but what a difference it makes.I turn the inline fan on and off when the light is out to keep the RH down and if I forget to have it on before the light comes back on that light is crazy hot. But,soon as I turn the inline fan on it cools that light down like magic. It is just a 6" fan but I could not grow in that tent with out it.
