My initial problem was procuring everything...Perlite wtf???.. even soil when I've got a picture on my phone of what I nead (apparently).....a little trial & error due to asian reading/language barrier.... Did a lot of surfing & reading/blazing & retained minimal information, which helped a bit......... Dabbled a bit & failed. Now use: half wormhusks (100% next grow?), half peat with clay balls...Stones & coconut husks at bottom to aid drainage & water retention - 2 x 65 watt cfl's + 1 x 300 watt LED panel (100x3w) My latest effort looks healthy-ish..(1 out of 2 easy sat fem)..yet small (heat?).(apparent outdoor bean?).(cfl's?). Had lots of hurdles....like moving 450+ km & 40 hours of darkness......... This may also be causing the shortness....oh & the powercuts don't help...... I am now flowering at about 5 inches tall on 12/12 in a kin hot cupboard............ when outside is naturally 12/12...... my first real attempt without moving etc..... will be between 2-8 white LSD auto.(depending on available funds).(BTW: didn't want auto as heard not good)... expecting lots of problems.... but enjoy the buzz & it relaxes me........ ain't got a clue when I'll start....but will post a pic of my little attempt so far....

I've been reading the forum for a while..............don't some members dish abuse?? pmsl.
Not here for abuse my fellow bud enthusiasts.....

also got a bottle each of grow & flower spray..Bignet brand?(online bcos I could)... no translations! anybody have experience with such things? spray on soil or directly onto plant? i've not bothered cos it looks nice & green/healthy for now........also got some 20-10-12 fertilizer cos it was the closest I could find to what I read was ideal (expert opinions vary) (unopened)....... seems that the wormcastings (vermicompost) has everything the plant needs as it's not showing discoloration?
Has anybody out there got experience growing in 35-45 degree temps? can it indeed be done even with time on my hands to tend them 24/7 n no aircon?
Cheers!

if you want to get more off the plants, you have to get them bigger before you flip them to flower. figure out how big they can get in your cab, then veg them till they're about half that size. get a couple of 5000K bulbs to veg under, and then switch them to 3000k when you start flower.
the size of your pot directly effects how big your yield will be. when i started off i was using 3 gallon smart pots, and would get maybe 60 or 70 grams dry off of a plant, went to 5 gallon hempy buckets and am getting 100-150 off clones of the same plants, grown to about the same size. i just started using 20 gallon totes for a couple of plants, and i fully expect my yields to jump up over 200 grams dry per plant, hopefully more. more roots = more fruits, for real.
those temps are going to kill you. unless you have a closed system running CO2, you don't want your temps to get much over 28C, it really slows things down, makes the plant work a lot harder for no end return.a cool mist humidifier and a small fan will help, may drop the temps by as much as 5 degrees, and the plants usually like the higher rh, as long as pm isn't a problem

thanks....i was giving it a couple of more weeks before flowering..........couple of powercuts stopped that......... so i flipped to 12/12.
closed system?........ain't even got a closed room where aircon would work properly.................Village Life man..........
cool mist humidifier didn't work.............neither did the coolers with ice in the bottom................. (before we moved from where was cooler).......
my veg bulbs are daylight 25 watt (125 watt equilavent) 6500k & daylight 65 watt Full Spectrum (325 watt equivalent) 7000k..........all i could get.........
for flowering using 2 x 65 watt (325w) Full Spectrum again & a 300 watt LED (full spectrum)...............
maybe could get hold of some 2700k at a push with miles coverd & only a maybe..................only been flowering for 2 days.......will wait n see.

if ya live in the middle of no where in a small village, why not grow outside? need a lot less equipment, just a lot of water and a little privacy

due to bored/drunk/nosey villagers...........privacy will always be an issue............as is legality.......for now...

ok........ total rethink......... need to build a room with an aircon........or venture outside..........bit dodge .............. Mmmmmmmm
There is no hope with the heat at present............... the 3 months round New Yrs should be good.......... if they're a bit colder than usual..................... MMMmmmmmmm.......

that was short lived..........................

it would be great if everyone could grow without fear of being caught, but until then, realities are realities. if you can't bring temps down under 30C you're going to grow little stunted plants that may or may not be worth the effort. the only way i know to get plants to grow at temps over that are to enrich with CO2, and if you can't seal a room up for ac, theres no way you can do it to run CO2.
i'm sure it would grow outside, it does all over the world, but nosey neighbors make that difficult as well.
keep thinkin about it, theres always a solution....just sometimes it eludes us

Decided to stick it outside starting tomorrow............ it's 12/12 almost now........... not expecting much to happen...but it can't get any smaller........ will update.
A room with aircon is on the cards.................... timeline? 2 weeks to complete......... in the real world.........

Well........it's been 6 days outside..............left alone to fend for themselves........... & we've had 2 serious thunder storms with unbelieveable amounts of rain............. dry season my arse....
Just left them to drown......................... The temperature has also dropped to a more reasonable 35c daytime.......maybe 28c at night........

On a completely different vector.......... Wouldn't auto fem beans be good for a place that's almost 12/12 all year round?
I read people saying 24/0.......... but surely if they're auto fem...... the lighting shouldn't matter too much......... so get them going under lights & throw them outside once they're sturdy enough....... or once they start to flower?? Just a thought...................

The one I'd written off is making a come back.................. from the start it was a runt.......... seems to have somehow topped itself? The first picture was 31 March.
Any idea what the brown is on the other one?

i would guess mag deficiency, and a little calcium maybe. give them a dose of cal mag, if you have any, check your plant nutes and see if they have both in them, if you're using a multi part system, theres usually one part that will have more calcium and mag than the other parts, if so, use a little more of that.

Unfortunately.......the food I have is in a foreign Asian language.......... & I stopped using it a while ago...........
I was looking at boiling up a couple of dozen egg shells & trying that.................
Had around 9 hours of terrential rain again too...............so letting them dry out..............again.
