newbie need input

my plant is about 2 weeks old i wanna know it looks ok or if i should change my setup im growin from seeds that ive saved over some time 2 40 watt 4 foot lights is that enough? NEED SOME INPUT THANX

your plants are streched you should have the light 1-3 inches above the plant watts don't mater is the lumes that mater you might want to add some cfls.

Should do great the next week.. after that you'll need to switch to way stronger lights... better now than later....

i have/had two 40w just like yours, each has 990lm... 990 lumens.....

need to buy some more of those t5's or whatever those long things are called.... there great for germination, cloning........ and 1. week of veg.

YES!!! CFL's are going to amp up your growth compared to your tube lights. They are a more concentrated light source. Pretty cheap too. You need a 6500K colour temperature on the bulb for the vegitative stage. Below are pics of my seeds at two weeks under CFL lighting. First 2 pics are at 2 weeks, and the last two pics are the same 2 plants at 4 weeks.

they look good, but move the light source closer to the plant.
