I have almost come to an end of my first grow. I'm having problems deciding when to harvest. I have read about looking at tricks for cloudiness but have a hard time deciding whether or not they are cloudy or clear. I am on day 52 of the 12/12 switch. The strain seems to be sativa dominant jilly bean. Any advice would help. Thanks!

I'd go another 10-14 days..... Then re-check trichs

Since you stated 52 days SINCE flip ... Deduct about 7-10 days for transition.

You are roughly approx. Week 6 ... ( in flower ).

The next couple weeks are bulking weeks , weight and mass. This is where growers chop too early because they see a lot of sugar. Waiting for flower maturity is the hard part .

Only concentrate on the triches that are on the Calyx ) bud it will give you an idea of cloudiness of trich heads. Pistils ( redding / brown colors ) will begin to recede back ,
More leaves will fade and drop. Sativas will take a bit longer to finish , be aware of this.

Rule of thumb : IT WILL TAKE AS LONG AS IT TAKES .

BE PAITENT.

you clearly missed his entire point, are you reading the replys you get? He is saying you counted wrong, and you have not flowered for 52 days, but rather more like 42 days (6 weeks) and you are best off waiting atleast another 3-4 maybe even 6 more weeks..

I have sativas that are done in 7 weeks, and I have sativas that are not done in 11 sometimes. It takes how long it takes to quote a above post. rushing is just going to ruin your work
