Next Season Advice

I am planning on a nice grow, I will actually be pretty dependent on it so everything needs to go as best as possible I live in a cooler climate, similar to that of New England in the US. I would like to know what a hardy strain for the region is and when I should plant it and all that. I am trying to decide on a location, does anyone have any advice on how to pick one. I would also be looking for something easy for a first time grow.
Ps. I'm a sativa fan.

This is something I would like to know also the weather here is about the same . I feel the earliest I could put plants outdoors is the first week of June and would be thinking the end of September would be the limit on the other end. I would like to have some that would be ready by the first of Sept. and some after that.

As far as picking a grow site I was told the more sun the better but try to get a early morning sun to dry it off it would be less chances of mold later on .
