Nirvana mystery. Huge,fluffy

I just cut my initial clone from the one nirvava mystery seed that survived. I had topped it very early and rooted the top, put it into flower. And low and behold. About 14 weeks in and it was ready. 100%cloudy. Just wouldn't turn Amber. I decided to finally cut it because it has started to throw a few pollen sacs.

The pot was a 6*6*8 soil. Clone toped out at about 12 inches tall. But huge airy buds...

I didn't save any clones of it because it took so long to flower. Wondering if I should take a few cuttings of the original plant(flowering 7weeks already) and try to reveg?

Here is the yield off the tiny clone. The mother has about 30 tops on it. In a screen of green. Hoping they all end up like this one. Is it worth trying to clone and reveg 7 weeks in? Is it worth trying to save a mystery strain that takes 3+months of flower? It has to be near 100% sativa right? Anyone know what the mystery seeds are from Nirvana? Are they actual strains they sell? just old stock or are they the leftovers from breeding out?

Anyone else have any luck with their mystery seeds?

Looks almost like the Dr. Grinspoon I used to grow. Have you smoked any yet? Personally I just don't have the patience for the long season sativas, and I can tell you it's a pain to get them to reveg. If you smoke it and it blows your mind, then consider keeping it. If not, search on. There's plenty of great stuff out there.

Have not tried it yet. Just cut the clone today. Might leave a little somewhere warm tonight to quick dry enough to sample tomorrow.

I wonder if it's a cross with grinspoon... The scent definitely fits most of the descriptions I found.(citrus and sumac) but there is a definite pepper scent to it too. the structure is similar too, just very compact/tight. What was the high like from grinspoon?

The one had a super head high, almost too much sometimes. The reason I stopped growing it is because of the long flowering time, but mostly because of the trimming. I was growing outdoor, and the plants were 10 feet tall and full of those goofy buds. Took forever to trim, and the yield wasn't that great. It was just clusters of huge calyx. I've considered growing it again, but I just don't have the space.

Thanks for the info, I guess I will have to see how it is tomorrow.

Ok, the mystery plant was fairly disappointing.

I dried enough for 2 small joints in the oven. Smoked one, Initial high was pretty good. Couldn't stop grinning, and wanted to be active. Doing chores around he house and listening to music. That quickly changed to just being spaced out. Within 30 mins. Just kept getting sidetracked and forgetting what I was doing.

Unfortunately I'm still feeling pretty spacy today. I am a very occasional smoker maybe 3 or 4 times a month. But I have not had trouble with day after effects until this one. Nothing major just not my cup of tea. Kind disappointing since I have a good size plant half way through flower.

I've never had ebbibles, will the effects be similar if used to make butter, or are they different? Just wondering what to do with this plant lol

looks just like my grinspoon did too.
I bet your plant didnt finish properly for whatever reasons. I feel my grinspoon the day after too but it was pleasant. way too long flowering for my tastes but a must try for the connoisseur

Yeah there s few different phenos in grinspoon. I grew one a few years ago that looked almost identical to the picture they use for it. Golf ball nugs. But very airy. Under weight yield. Decent high. Not worth running again. I still have 4 seeds from an attitude order from 4 years ago

Think I let it go too long? I kept waiting for a few Amber trichomes and they never came. I ran two full flowering cycles of my bubble bomb while this mystery clone was flowering. The larger mystery has been in flower about 7 weeks. Very little mass to it right now. I'll post a pic when I get home.

I wonder if. Few weeks less or more might be more enjoyable.

hard to tell. when I encounter a stranger I snip a bud once in awhile before harvest, dry, inspect/sample.
sometimes when we mess up in flower they just stop metabolizing properly like thats it, all done, like it or not it wont get better if this happens.
