Nirvana Shop - Review

I'll keep this updated as things progress, to let everyone know about the genetic stability of this company's seeds. But without further ado, here is the review.

Nirvana Shop (www.nirvanashop.com)
  • Selection: The selection at Nirvana Shop was fair, not too big, yet not too small. A lot of seed banks, Attitude for example have an overwhelmingly large selection, making it incredibly hard (at least in my opinion) to find what you're looking for. Nirvana Shop has a selection size that is just right for light browsing. It's small enough to let you find exactly what you're looking for easily, yet large enough to offer a good variety, giving you a feeling of almost customization. I give Nirvana Shop a 8 out of 10 for selection.
  • Price: The pricing at Nirvana Shop is phenomenal. They are very cheap, with most strains hovering around $30. I know most people will say "You get what you pay for." but after days of digging through old Grow Journals, Strain Reviews, and Seedbank Reviews, Nirvana Shop seeds won't disappoint and offer plenty of bang for your buck. I give Nirvana Shop a 10 out of 10 for price.
  • Service: From what I've read and what I'm experiencing, the shipping times seem to be fairly rapid. Most people have reported that it takes about a week for their seeds to be processed and then anywhere from 3-7 days to get to them. Although, Nirvana advertises that it takes 2-3 weeks to get to United States addresses, I've read otherwise. Their customer support is excellent, responding promptly and more often than not solving the problem. I give Nirvana Shop a 9 out of 10 for service.
  • Stealth Rating: Their products are discreet, but not stealthy. Granted, I may have a different opinion of what stealth is. My opinion may or may not involved hiding the seeds in the corrugation of the cardboard and just shipping some small doodad in said cardboard box, but nonetheless Nirvana Shop sends their seeds in nondescript bubble envelope. Without opening it, nobody would know what was in it. I give Nirvana Shop a 7 out of 10 for stealth rating.
I can't say whether or not I would order from Nirvana Shop again or not, as my seeds have yet to arrive! I'll be keeping a dated journal below describing the shipping process and speed along with the descriptions of the seeds (yes, I'll be sure to include pictures!) and general plant health. However, I did quite a bit of research on Nirvana Shop, and that's what led me to chose them as my first company to order seeds from. It seems as if I will be ordering from them again so long as everything goes well with the seeds I've ordered.

Journal
  • January 18th, 2012: Order placed for Papaya feminized (5 seeds), total cost for seeds and shipping was $42.51, immediately received an email regarding the confirmation of my order. A few moments later I received an email informing me that Nirvana had just billed my bank, and that they had done it through a front so it wouldn't show up as "Cannabis seeds" on my statements.
  • January 19th, 2012: I received an email informing me that my order was in their packaging department and that it would soon be shipped. They even told me I should get my growroom ready ;-)
  • January 22nd, 2012: I received another email, informing me that my order had been shipped that day. The estimated waiting time for EU customers is 1-2 weeks, and the estimated waiting time for US customers is 2-3 weeks.

Good write up! I myself would order from them again. Ive ordered twice, one took 2 weeks on the nose and the 2nd took 10 days. I love their strains, and i know what to expect during their growth. more or less. ;)

I've got a quick question, hopefully someone has an answer to it. Does anyone know if Nirvana Shop seeds come via USPS? It says they ship with TNT Worldwide shipping, but when they come to the US and go through customs, do they get filtered in with USPS mail or does TNT have trucks that go about delivering them? I did a package guesstimate with on the TNT Worldwide and they said that a package of the same size and weight as mine should have been here yesterday.

I've never seen a TNT truck ever, only USPS and FedEx trucks. Hopefully someone has an answer!

EDIT: I just realized I can't edit my original post to add it to the journal, so I figured I would let everyone know down here that I contacted Nirvana Shop a little bit ago asking for a tracking number, no reply yet.

It's USPS first class and there are no tracking numbers for first class.

Yep, that's the way they do it - they send you all these reassuring e-mails and then only deliver 2 out of three of your orders ... and then they ignore you when you write to complain.

Last Dec-Jan I placed five different oders with Nirvana - three arrived. Two orders ($95 total) failed to arrive - Nirvana just ignores all e-mails to them. I am disputing the charges with the credit card company now.

Nirvana appears to have a rat in the rug somewhere in their shipping department - way too many customer complaints about failed deliveries AND their customer service in handling complaints is terrible.

DO NOT USE NIRVANA - THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.

Bud Grauer, I don't think they have an email support system? Their support system is through weedportal via ticketing. I had my ticket answered within a day.

WTF????

What are you??? Some kind of shill for Nirvana??

Nirvana offered to replace the "lost" (i.e. they simply ripped me off TWICE) orders, then they did not do anything, okay?? Big deal that they "answered the ticket" - then they just bullshitted me. After i accepted their offer, then those stoned idiots did absolutely nothing.

Here are the e-mails in reverse order:

OK. It's a deal.

Could you please send me two orders of Short Ryder feminised (2 x 5 seeds/order)?

I understand that "our Terms & Conditions clearly state that we cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen or confiscated shipments" and blah blah blah, but first of all, the fact that TWO shipments are missing (and I actually received three shipments) suggests to me that the seeds did not arrive for some other reason besides " lost, stolen or confiscated" I am entitled to not only receive what I ordered thru the mails but also I am entitled to performance (germination) or else I can reverse the charges on m credit card.

Im sorry to hear that those 2 orders didnt arrive. Considering the time that has passed, it is unlikely your missing orders will turn up.

As you know, our Terms & Conditions clearly state that we cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen or confiscated shipments. As a gesture of goodwill, though, I'd be happy to share the loss with you just this once. I'm willing to resend half of the missing orders to you - please let me know which 2 strains you would like me to resend and I'll make sure they get shipped out to you a.s.a.p.

Please let me know

Omo, ez bruv. It hasn't even been a week yet. They send out orders on Friday and Tuesday, so if it was sent Friday, you won't get it for a few days yet. I know it's frustrating to not have your product in your hands, but it sounds like they are trying to make it right.

Pistol: Did you receive your order yet?

Disclaimer: I am NOT some kind of shill for Nirvana

Don't listen to these two jerkoffs bro! Nirvana is awesome and the lady that handles their e-mail is awesome! Nirvanas customer service is second to none! Their genetics aren't the best but they are good enough to produce some good weed! If you want good genetics you will have to pay way more for your beans than Nirvana is charging! I love thier Bubbelicious and I don't care for it but everyone that tries the White Widdow they love it! You will get your beans.

Although omohundro paisted that mail from Alice at Nirvana, and I would be fucking pissed and never order from them again if she said that shit! If you really have a problem with ordering from Nirvana but you want their cheap beans order them through Attitude seedbank and pay for the garanteed shipping!

I'm not a Nirvana shill, I'm just a fan of their operation. I find it professional and timely. I'm sorry you didn't have a good time with them, but you need to realize that 1.4 million packages get lost in the mail EVERY day (correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's the figure) and the fact that some of your happened to get lost is unfortunate, but not unheard of.

I have not got my beans yet, but it has only been nine days since shipping, and it takes 2-3 weeks according to Nirvana. I'm not really stressing over the fact that they haven't come yet. I've noticed that if you pester and bug a company, they are less likely to help you. Thanks for the opinion on Bubbelicious, I was considering ordering that next, and it's nice to see people in the community praising it.

Recently made 2 orders:

One from Attitude. Arrived yesterday in very good time (10 days to USA).

One from Nirvana. Should arrive sometime this week.

Attitude is reliable but overpriced, in my opinion.

I'm hoping mine shows up tomorrow, 10 days seems a reasonable time. TNT said their packages get to the US within 3-4 days.

Anyone have any dealings with Dutch Seeds (DDS). It has been almost a month for me with no seeds. Only an email saying my payment cleared and shipment would take place soon. I have emailed about 15 times with no luck.

Seeds arrived today, 10 days after confirmation of shipment. Package was stealthy, although the seeds were not in a crush proof container. The seeds are also quite small and unimpressive. The labeling on the baggie is very worn, leading me to believe that these seeds may be a bit old. We'll see how they do though. I won't be able to start growing immediately however, as I've got my Uncle staying with me and if there is any illegal activity going on at his legal address, it will violate his parole whether he did it or not. So, seeing as I enjoy my Uncle's company and don't want to see him in jail for the rest of his life, I think I can wait a little bit.

Here's a picture of the seeds.

I'm worried they may be immature, as they possess a slightly green tinge in addition to a fairly large line of off white... What do you all think?
