Normal Growth...

My seedling is now 2 weeks old and i was wondering if this growth is normal ? Excuse me if im being dumb but I have only ever grown a few plants in soil before and always seen 1 set then 3 then 5 and so on but there seems to be a lot of new growth growing inbetween the two sets of three as shown in pic. Its under a 300w blue cfl in an oxypot , the light is about 5 inches from the plant and the tent temp is between 25-28 degrees celcius.
Also is this way of cooling the water in the oxypot ok (in a larger bucket) or could this cause any issues?I wouldnt have thought it would but thought i would ask just incase.20140629_113552.jpg 20140629_113603.jpg

That is a healthy looking plant.

Having your reservoir uncovered allows light to hit the nutrient solution causing algae eventually.

It may be a good idea to cover that second bucket's top.

Cool, thanks. When u say about the light hitting the nutrient solution do u mean in the yellow bucket or the gaps in the net pot? There are no nutes in the yellow bucket just cold tap water to cool the oxypot. I change 50% of the water in the yellow bucket at least once daily, would you still recommend trying to find a way to cover it?

Ahhhh okay. Yes I was talking about the yellow container.

I thought for some reason you had intermingled the buckets and that the yellow was part of your system.

No reason to cover the yellow if you are changing water as often as you are in regards to algae.

If your humidity is sitting where you want it, great, if not a cover may reduce humidity.

why would you want to spend that much time replacing water every day?
Whilst the weather is warm the water temp in the oxypot slowly rises to about 74 to 75 degrees , changing the water takes about 5 minutes together with a couple of ice packs brings the temp down to 68-69 degrees. Which is where i thought it should be from what ive read to reduce the chance of root rot and let the plant get more oxygen? Do you know of an easier way to cool the water in the oxypot , any advice appreciated :)
