An antisocial psychopath pulls a gun on you, do you try to talk your way out of it or do you pull your own gun? Of course both guns are already drawn but I don't think the psychopath is going to lower his pistol before you do and I don't think it is wise to lower your pistol before he does. The only way out of this mess is if another person comes to your aid and draws on him as well, or you take your chances and fire on him.

What can this guy possibly want? why can't we give him things for being good? encouraging humanitarian behavior..?

america is not the only people they've ever been at war with, why do they hate us so much?

Best case he shoots you in the chest and you survive. Ya you can go with that but I wouldn't take that chance. When someone pulls a gun on you you can just do nothing. You'll have lots of time to chill in your coffin bud man.

Who said Kim was a psychopath?

Thats just american media propaganda.

The rest of the world treats him (and dad) as immature narcassitic kooks, which is what they are.

All they have ever wanted is to sit at the adult table. Getting nukes was the only way to get anyone's attention and to be taken seriously.

NK never was and never will be a threat to anyone. Just American propaganda propagated by the military industrial complex to justify more tax payer money.

Thats all.

Now that NK acutually has nukes what has changed? Nothing. Same old kook crying for attention. If Kim actually steps out of line China will take care of it.

Nothing to see here folks. You all are just giving Kim what he wants. An audience....

What is the anxiety level in Seoul like now, anybody here got connections to Seoul?
By all accounts I've seen, South Koreans seem to be rather sanguine about the latest row. They've seen it before and they've always seen it come to nothing more than the odd artillery barrage.

They're aware of the situation, of course. If they were prone to worry, they'd be complete wrecks, unable to pursue their daily lives.

The country depends on the United States for its defense and has bought many billions of dollars worth of equipment from the US over the years, including an order of 40 F-35 fighters. That's no small expense for such a relatively small country. As part of the mutually beneficial alliance, they provide much and trust us to crush the North Koreans if they should ever get serious.

My neighbour is south Korean with some family in the north. They are anxious now because of Trump. In the past, presidents have ignored NK, knowing it isnt their problem. But with Cheney/Bush and their hawks and Trump the tard turning their eyes on them...well... Trump is a loon and well... nuff said...
