Who said Kim was a psychopath?

Thats just american media propaganda.

The rest of the world treats him (and dad) as immature narcassitic kooks, which is what they are.

All they have ever wanted is to sit at the adult table. Getting nukes was the only way to get anyone's attention and to be taken seriously.

NK never was and never will be a threat to anyone. Just American propaganda propagated by the military industrial complex to justify more tax payer money.

Thats all.

Now that NK acutually has nukes what has changed? Nothing. Same old kook crying for attention. If Kim actually steps out of line China will take care of it.

Nothing to see here folks. You all are just giving Kim what he wants. An audience....
Trump supporters like shiny things - this is one of them. Our mentally impaired and ignorant President has committed one of the worst sins of international affairs by emitting never-ending clouds of gas and hot air while shaking his tiny fist at whatever the problem is. That sort of thing works much better domestically as you have far more ways to apply pressure to the problem - too bad he doesn't grasp this. Now there are two ways to go, back down or start a war with no international support and a high likelihood of escalation into something globally catastrophic. Fortunately, the minority that still supports him in America are very stupid and easily fooled allowing Trump some wiggle room in that he can back down and claim victory and his supporters will be none the wiser but Trump will know it as will the media and 66% of the American voters. I don't think he will stand for that. I fear this will push him toward war which offers him (not America, but we all know Trump doesn't give a fuck about America if it benefits him personally to betray us) two advantages; patriotism dictates that more Americans will support the President during wartime, or a situation may arise in the midst of the military crisis allowing him to suspend democracy and grab emergency powers. I still think he is groping for the latter being fully aware that he has won his last peacetime election but being unwilling to leave the stage red-faced and red-assed. His brand would suffer too much. If Donald has to choose between 50,000 American dead and loss of brand status - kiss those 50,000 lives goodbye.

Let me point out that I don't really think the Donald wants to grab dictatorial power; I think he seeks glory for himself and his brand and shutting down dissent or staving off electoral defeat are ways to get that. The guy has no clue what to do to actually rule or govern, he just wants good ratings. He doesn't care about the support of the majority of the country as long as he has the adulation of enough idiots to satisfy his insecurity. And he really does not want what is good (or bad for that matter - it just doesn't enter into it at all) for the country, if he can even register what that would be. He wants his own cult of personality to feed his narcissistic needs. He is not complicated if you can just grasp the pathetic extent of his malignant narcissism.

Nailed it.
Could not have said it any better.

I should qualify one thing i did say before.... while NK is no threat, I agree that the issue has the potential to blow up into a global military conflict.

That point was confirmed the other day when Putin said exactly that, which was merely diplomatic speak for "if you come near my house and raise shit you can bet your ass i will get involved."

Putin drew the line. But at the same time he was careful not to critiize Trump. For fear of provoking a lunatic...or do they have something on the go?

How about if Kim Jong Un is assured he wouldn't be attacked if he gave up his nuclear?
IRMA is about 2 times as big as your state let alone the county you are in. Please tell us all that you are taking steps to be safe. Are you going to have to evacuate? Please say you have a plan. I'm worried about you. As, I'm sure we all are.

What no one sees is all the US war ships and fighter jets patrolling the NK coast...western Governments create the problem so they can offer a solution.. War.
Good point.

Northern, southern and eastern governments do that kind of stuff as well. It seems interminably a part of what government is.
