Man, every 10 days huh? Mine are super thirsty. They are taking 1.5 gallons each approx every other day. Depending on weather conditions.
Yup, 85 today 45 tonight. Dew and early flower bad mix. I set up a fan to keep air moving and shake her down as often as possible.

Flushing is the subject of much debate here. I'm on the side of it not being beneficial to the plant or the eventual product.
Haha. No, I have the world's most embarrassing ghetto greenhouse protecting them during the day so they get light but stay dry. At night they are in the garage under the fans.
From the quick reading I just did now, it seems like flushing can be beneficial, but it depends on grow media, over all goal of the grow, and the scale of the grow operation.
My own theory is first not to overfeed them in peak bloom, second feed them lightly near the end and third flavor is something that is best addressed by good curing techniques.
That sounds reasonable to me. Plus with the reading I just started doing, I think I'm officially out of the flushing camp. For this grow at least. I'll experiment on the next run and see what's what for myself.

Well said. I'm sure everyone who trys the finished product will be honest with me about how it turns out! I'm growing it for friends and family who come visit. Once it was legalized in MA, it dawned on me that I always have beer and wine on hand to offer guests, why not bud? If it "burns like a flare and tastes like ass", or the ash is black and the smoke is harsh, you should change something up. Either reduce nutes during flower, flush, or be more careful in curing, depending on who you are reading.
Feel like this will be a never ending debate. Souly my opinion, earth grows need not worry about "flushing" the plant is only gonna take up what she needs. There's no viable way to do it anyway. Sounds like garbage to me anyway. The plant is what you made it. Not gonna all of a sudden change it's molecular make up by dumping clear water on it. I would just stay away from chem. fert all together if your that worried about it. on the other hand it's been a while since I grew Indoors. Possible it could make a diff. If the plant was parched and gave it a couple of dire waterings. Overall not many people could tell the diff. Just tell em it's flushed lok
