How spicy does everyone like their food? I'm bringing some Chili to help feed the masses :-P (don't worry I wont use Habaneros for this batch :fire: , just wondering if I should go light on the other 'spices' :?: )
love hot food green chili or white boy chili?

It's an old family recipe, and would be considered "White Boy" Chili (got it from my Great Grandmother who isn't that 'White' [Blackfoot and Arapahoe Indian] who had help from my Ohio family to make it even better  ), it's a mix of Texas and Ohioan style Chili I think, 6 types of beans, crushed tomatoes and sauces/paste, 'chili' spices, with a few different Peppers, onions, and no less than 24 hours of cooking to make sure everything is perfect and well mixed  . I will leave the beef and turkey out of this batch in case we have any Vegetarians show ;-)

I will make a small batch of 'Azh family Original Chili' for those who don't want a "watered down" version :fire: (some people say they like spicy food... until I show up 8-) )

Put me down for some Flo Scout Cookies or that Cherry Wreck please :weed: . Those both sound like some great 'testers' . (that "Flurkle" sound damn interesting too, but beggars can't be choosers  )

I will be slowly putting my Chili together, pics of that to come tomorrow

Mountain Top and Flo Scout sound awesome. I may have to make the trek, trying to convince the bride that this is a way better way to spend time on Sunday than working on the yard...

Wow, guys! Both of the chili and the pork shoulder look amazing! We're bringing a couple cheese balls -- no pun intended, but, damn, do I feel foolish having just typed that! I might just have to see about whipping something else up, though. My poor kitchen.

Cheers, all!

I like me some cheese, doesn't matter what form it comes in, I just like CHEESE!

Thanks for all the kind words about my chili everyone, I am bringing enough to feed a small army

Those pork shoulders sound great too; I love it when food is SLOW cooked and prepared properly.

Can hardly wait until tomorrow!
