Thats almost 10% shorter cycle. No need for 730nm flowering initiator to shorten the flowering cycle. Can just use 90 CRI. Cool
Looking forward to more on cri impact on flowering periods.
I would love to see side by side and see if there is a yield difference and/or cannabanoid profile difference.
For me running shorter cycle with a small tent time is VERY important this is great if it is a consistent thing!

Know this is a month old but i'm planning to use similar cobs and wattage.... just wondering what your total yield was under the 195watts?

Have you moved forward with this?

Speaking personally, I've made the decision to replace and retire every HID I own in favor of some kind of LED lighting.
I just bought more cobs, but I went with 80cri cxm22s
New tent is already here and I havent even got a light for it haha.
I still need to clean area for the tent to go, lots of rearranging my crowded bedroom to come tomorrow.

Here is my solution to the coco issues, and a few others! Best investment I've made in my growroom, Auto Pots. Self watering in measured amounts, VERY simple mechanical valve. You can get pots in 2.2, 3.9, and 5.9 gallon pots I've seen guys grow 1000+ gram plant in the 6.9 pots!
You can get various reservoirs with them, or DIY one. I found a 23 gallon waste basket at Lowe's the same shape and depth as the stock 12 gallon, just wider and taller.

Auto pots has a video on how their valve works, its ingenious, really! The tray below the valve has to become pretty much dry, before the valve will let water in again. Pots absorb the water, then get to dry a little bit before the next watering/feeding.

the 12 gallon res will feed 4, 3.9gal pots for about a week.

If you have bigger plants and/or smaller volumes of soilless mix it can easily become necessary to water several times a day. Even in 5 gallon buckets I'm seriously considering an automated watering system to water twice a day.

I'll follow your grow if you rum the cxm22 curious to see them in action. I think its wonderful that the DIY community has found a good number of new options for us!

Thanks man! They actually did finish at least 5 to 7 days earlier. I'll be able to match 3000k 80cri vs 3000k 90cri with same plants very soon.
And that's a deal :weed::joint: My jars are always open for you buddy!
Really Well Brother We Can Compare Cause After I Chop What's In My 3x5 I Will Be Running 2 Citi 1812 240 Watt Lamps. 1 Is 3500k 80 Cri And The Other Is the 90 Cri Version :peace:

Looking forward to it! So far between my 3000k 80cri CXA3070s and 3000k Gen7 90cri Veros I'm leaning towards the 90 so far. Not the best comparison since it's older Cree vs newer Vero but they just seem to be moving along a bit faster and getting a little stickier earlier. I'll have a better idea in about 3 weeks.
