Nute problems

How long does it take to show you have a nute burn? I mean from the time you give it to much to the time it starts to show that it has nute burn

Usually within a couple of days if it was really bad a day!

my stuff is in soil...... I though tit would be a day or so have to give it time to work through the plant right
