Nutes for autoflowers planted directly into FFOF

hi guys

I planted my auto berry ryder seedlings into FFOF 5 gal buckets a little over two weeks ago. I have big grow + big bloom + tiger bloom nutes.

how soon will my plants need nutes? I know FFOF is hot so they should be good for at least 3 weeks?

what do you usually start off with for your autoflowers / how soon? I've read about them being especially nute sensitive

I'm on my first grow now, but my setup is similar to yours besides the auto strain and the nutes. I waiting until day 17 to start giving nutes, and I used 1/4 strength Dyna-Gro Grow phd to 6.5. Some autos are more sensitive than others so just wait 72 hours for any signs of burn. Check mainly on the tips of the leaves as if they are turning brown, then wait awhile before your next feed. Good luck man! Remember with autos, don't start feeling them flowering nutes until a week or so after they show preflowers.

like Lurkdewitt says, start with diluted solution of nutes and slowly increase as the plants get bigger and stronger. i usually start at about 2 weeks with a really weak mixture of nutes. keep it green!

FFOF is too rich/hot for alot of seedlings just hot enough to give a slight burn sometimes and others its hot enough to burn the tap root and cause permanent stunting luck of the draw really im not saying ffof wont work because it will most of the time but it raises loss levels when used straight out of the bag its common practice to add extra perlite to cut the str down some and add to the aeration of the soil
i use 1/4 str at around 3-5 nodes or 3 weeks what ever comes first
