Nutrient uptake in drip systems?

Hi. In my Dutch pot hydro system the leca balls have clogged the draining holes...so I had to make a change in the hose so it drips instead of constant running otherwise the buckets will overfill with water. Does this effect the nutrient uptake by the plants?

I cant unclog the drain because my plants are in the 3rd week in bloom and the buckets are filled with lecaballs and roots.
